City of Preston Gymnastics Club

Having progressed through the initial stage one at West View, the staff there suggested my daughter moved on to the club in Campbell Street. It has been a painful experience. Their organisation is nothing short of disgraceful. Having had a slight injury in the first few weeks, my daughter had to miss a session and as no one ever answers the phone there, I sent an email explaining her absence. The following week we arrived in the heavy rain at 1430 to be told the class had been moved forward to 0900 that same day, no communication again. The following week, we arrived again to learn there was no class, presumably because of the Christmas break, again no mention of this when we came the week before. Having tried again on numerous occasions to telephone and sending further emails without any response whatsoever, she has decided she no longer wishes to attend. The staff there on reception, mainly young girls, just sit there talking and using their mobiles, no notice is taken of who comes or goes. The place is extremely untidy, dirty even, it's an uncomfortable environment. I do not criticise the coaching staff, they were excellent but the administration, support and cleanliness are nothing short of appalling..

My daughter started this club just 2 months ago after transferring from another club, in this short space of time she has exceeded our expectations with the fantastic support of not only her coaches but the other gymnasts and parents too. not only have the coaches managed to support my daughter through a hard time but they have also managed to help her to continue to achieve her long term goal. Their dedication to the boys and girls within the club is nothing short of amazing. It also provides a very friendly environment for my boys who also spend a lot of time at he gym due to my daughters hours and have always been made to feel welcome.

Excellent club with excellent facilities. This is a competition club so your child will either need to work up through the club at west view or come through a trials which happen from time to time.

The coaches are fantastic at what they do, and have a high expectation for all the kids that come into the club. Parents are expected to play a key role in the life of the gym and to keep it running.

I love this place. It's the home of the future of gymnastics, not just in Preston, but in the whole of the north west. Great coaches, great facility and a safe environment for the kids express themselves positively and achieve fantastic things. I've had my daughter's birthday party's there too and every child enjoyed it and the adults had great fun too. I would recommend this centre to anyone who shows an interest in gymnastics, dance or cheerleading.

Please don't let any negative comments put you off this amazing establishment. My girls have been attending the club for just over a year now and the coaching has been second to none! The coaches and facilities are fantastic. The proof is in the results they achieve! What makes COPGC even more special is the fact it's ran purely on a voulenteer basis- from coaching to cleaning to reception duties everything is done by the COPGC 'family'. A family I am proud to be apart of!

City of Preston Gymnastics Club is an amazing gymnastics club with great coaches and excellent facilities.
The club is very friendly and welcoming. All the children are trained to a high standard in a professional environment.

Amazing coaches, facilities and parents. Proud to be a member, we only joined a year ago and feel like we have been there for a lifetime😀 of would highly recommend this club.

Great facilities and services provided here for all skill levels and varying ages.
Been taking my daughter for a few years now and can’t fault them.
Even through Covid they’ve been supportive and keeping everyone active even when they’re closed!
