I contacted scalp sense after seeing adverts for their scalp micro pigmentation services.

The practitioners are really helpful from the first consultation to the end of treatment and after the very first session I felt a boost in my confidence. I even got compliments from others on my nice haircut!

After 3 sessions I think I look younger again and don’t have to worry about having to wear hats all the time. I’d definitely recommend Scalp Sense’s SMP for anyone who is feeling a bit self-conscious about their receding hair line.

Being in the army rep, style and appearance is a big thing. Lacking the confidence in my hair line Matt sorted that for me and everyone has complimented how great the new look looks. I am absolutely over the moon with my SMP sessions, it looks so natural you would never know it was a tattoo. I couldn’t be happier.

I had my concerns due to having fairer hair but Matt C put my mind at ease and answered all the questions I had on it. He is a really nice genuine bloke.

The set up in the studio is great, you can watch Netflix on the TV while Matt gets to work.

If you are unsure/contemplating having SMP session please don’t hesitate I can not recommend it enough. I just wished I done I years ago.

My experience with Matthew and Scalp Sense has been exceptional from start to finish. After hearing and seeing some nightmare stories about SMP, I spent a lot of time researching and comparing different companies However what stood out for me was the level of professionalism, communication and skill from Matthew and the level of consultation he provided (before I’d even parted with a penny) prior to even starting the procedure and which continued throughout the whole process and in the end results. In addition, seeing some of the previous work Matthew had carried out assured me he was very skilled at what he does and that I was in good hands.

His professionalism was notable during our sessions, Matthew truly believes in delivering a first class service and superb results. Proof of this is how he dealt with some skin damage and eczema I have on my scalp. During a flare up of my eczema he was so careful not to carry out any procedure that would prolong the flare up or cause an inferior finish. He actually turned me away on a couple of occasions because of his concerns, I suspect some companies would prefer to just get you seen and out of the door no matter if it would be detrimental to the finish. At not fault of his own, he’s booked a full morning to see someone, only to find he can’t complete the procedure due to the skin being in poor condition and he’s left with a morning he cannot fill with another client. This proves that he’s genuinely invested in the service he provides and the quality of the end result and not earning a quick buck.

His studio is very clean and provides a comfortable experience for when you’re in the chair for a few hours (including the nice touch of providing Netflix for you to pick something to watch!).

His pricing is extremely competitive and with the added benefit of a 1 year guarantee on the work, it’s a no brainer.

If you’re considering SMP and are reading this review, DO NOT book anywhere else until you’ve spoken to Matt. I can assure you, you’ll not regret it!

I’ve followed Matt’s work for nearly 6 months before I had my treatment and after speaking to Matt, I was 100% sure he was the right man to carry out my treatment. He made me feel comfortable, important and listened to what I wanted and how I wanted my treatment.
