I had a balayage and cut and style on Friday at Bluewater .The girls were amazing and did such a good job! I looked like a new me and I’m so happy with the finished result. They talked me through the colour and cut options and made sure I understood everything first and then the service was brilliant. There was also another lady who helped me. The team are amazing and this is my definite regular salon now

I had hair cut, colour, and styling here and it was absolutely perfect! Best hair cut and colour I have ever received, that compliments I've had since are boosting my ego beyond belief lool! but lovely staff, very clean, and great experience.

I popped in to enquire about a balayage. Whilst the receptionist was friendly, the colourist was rude from the get go. Even after explaining that I don't cut my hair for religious reasons, she persistly advised that I would need to cut my hair in order to colour it. This has never been an issue for me before so perhaps they lacked experience compared to previous hair dressers of mine (incl other T&G branches). The lack of professionalism and cultural awareness made me feel so uncomfortable, I couldn't run our fast enough.

If you make an online appointment, use a disposable / once-only card to book. Today, the morning of my appointment. I was phoned to say they cannot honour the appointment and the only option for me as a customer is to reschedule. I said that was not possible for me as I am leaving the country in a few days, for 7 months. She cared not and said I will be charged anyway. I protested as I wanted to keep the appointment and it was them who was cancelling, not me. She didnt care. She was enjoying telling me I would be charged anyway.
Well I emptied my revolut account while I was talking to her to be safe and also terminated my disposal digital card. They won’t be charging me at all. I enjoyed telling her that too.

Haircut by Ashlie cut hair with parting on wrong side. Although she said she would correct it in front of others, she told the junior staff member who told her I was ready that I would have to come back as she was busy . She was obviously very irritated and although I was sitting in the next chair she totally ignored me . I found her to be very rude. The cut was very amateurish too.
Colour appt was ok Taya very nice but again didn’t listen coloured all front of hair instead of leaving own colour as base with darker streaks leaving the back grey looking absurd. The very young girl who washed hair blow dried my hair as she couldn’t find anyone else to do it . Had she shown me the back before I went I think I would have cried. Overall a very expensive ordeal never to be repeated even if I was paid to go there.

I booked online for hair highlights for a family wedding. I did not read the small print for cancellation of appointments as I knew I would definitely ensure I will be free for. Their rules were: you need a patch test 48 hours before (I have never needed this in other salons so it did not cross my mind), and that their cancellation fee is only taken if an appointment is cancelled 24 hours before. I made special arrangements to be available for the appointment. I was then called hours before my appointment by Toni & Guy who cancelled on me. They did not mention that a fee would be taken. I then see a pending cancellation fee of £30 the next day. I called the store and they told me to take it up with customer services (email address was given to me). I then did not receive a response for months till I re-sent the email with high priority. They basically refused to accept the refund and kept quoting their online small print. Firstly, they should have cancelled 48 hours before my appointment hence avoiding that fee. This was merely a ploy to take £30 from unsuspecting customers. Secondly, they did not tell me a fee would be taken when they cancelled, otherwise I would have taken any service that day to not be charged £30 for no service. I was available that day. This is appalling from a large well-known company. It was my first time and will be my last time using them.

I visited Toni&Guy Bluewater on the 15th of July for a cut and highlights. The colourist burned my hair so badly that the girl who cut my hair could not brush them through (I still struggle with brushing my hair after that). I ended up with a really great cut (thanks!) and damaged bleached hair. The colourist used heat on already bleached hair that is absolutely unprofessional. I relied on her understanding of my hair but I just had to prevent her from doing it.
I still give 2 stars because I was satisfied with the cut.
