Lau Hairdressing

I had been recommended by a friend whose hair always looks amazing . My new look , in both cut and colour is great and I love what the stylist , Sharon, created for me . The salon experience was safe and comfortable. I will be back in December hopefully!

Today l had Chloe doing my highlights, first time ever and Damon doing a colour and cut.
Always come away from here with wonderful feeling and hair so beautiful. Everyone is so friendly,Tina has a wonderful way with customers but so do the other staff
Already booked for the end of next month.
So safe as well with PPE equipment, didn't effect my treatments at all.
They usually offer a wonderful coffee/tea but not allowed during these days, hopefully back soon

I had my hair cut by the owner (Damon) a few days ago, after scouring the internet for a place that cuts curly hair. I have struggled with finding somewhere that can cut and style my hair in a way that suits me, and Damon did not disappoint! He was so warm, friendly, professional and clearly very experienced and knowledgeable! Before even touching my hair, we spent around 10 minutes talking about my hair texture, my face shape, my relationship with my hair, what style would suit me etc. He made my hair look and feel incredible, I am so happy with it! Definitely sticking to this place as my new regular.

The worst hygiene salon I've seen. While a guy was cutting my little one's hair, he asked another hairdresser, who was working on another client, to give him the scissor she was using to finish my little one's hair, wiped the lady's hair with his finger, and used it on my child. I was mortified. When I asked him to not do that,he was rude to me and told me they never clean the scissor and, his defense, " i have wiped the hair with my fingers " 😤 😑 please don't use it.

Since I started coming to Lau, they have been awesome. They have always made me feel safe and welcome and really helped me with my fear of having my hair cut. Very professional service.

After having a bad experience of colouring elsewhere, I went to Lau hoping they could put it right. They went above and beyond, and I cannot express how happy I am with the end result. If its a cheap, quick hair cut you're looking for, there are plenty of other salons in and around Maidstone to choose from, but if it's quality, professionalism and high end results you're after, Lau's the place to go.

Very very pleased with the hair cut and care l had today . I had a walk in appointment with Hini . Fantastic customer service . She listened to me and took a lot of care to get my hair right .

The salon was recommended to me by one of my colleagues. After my initial visit I was not fully satisfied with the end result, so decided to share my disappointment with the management, who immediately invited me back for another appointment. The team were very efficient and managed my expectations well, and professionally.
I was very satisfied with the end results, my hair colour and a cut were as I had originally expected. Heidi and Chloe were both very patient, and reassuring when dealing with my demands.
I can see that for the staff at Lau quality really does matter. Thank you,
