Popped in today for my daughter's first proper haircut. What a great service, she sat in a car chair, watched Peppa and barely noticed the hair cut going on. Actual hair cut was a good job too! Can highly recommend and we will be back.

My son is autistic and non verbal, we went for our first hair cut after a 6 months of trying the usual place and a few new. NO PROBLEM HERE! Played for an hour to settle in and the lady who was working that day was amazing with him. X

Dreadful experience! Yes they have fun seats and TVs but if they can't cut hair what's the point?! Me and my son waited ages for our appointment and I was watching the hairdresser doing a little girls hair in a bob. The cut was all over the place and the hairdresser couldn't even work out how to deal with a wave in the little girls hair and kept hacking more and more off resulting in a chopped mess! I hoped my sons turn would be better but no... the lady kept blowing her nose on a manky old snotty tissue and then putting her fingers back in my sons hair, and it seemed that she hadn't had hairdresser training because she was just hacking at it randomly! He had long bits and short bits all mixed together and it looked dreadful. I could tell the lady had no idea what she was doing so we just paid and left and went straight to Buzz to get it cut properly. Dreadful place!!

Took my 2 year old son here today, the quality of the hair cut was average but the attitude and service was absolutely terrible. The lady who cut my sons hair didnt talk to my son or even say hello, which was just weird and not friendly. When I suggested clearing his face of some lose hair (because he was clearly getting agitated) glances were exchanged with her colleague and eyes rolled, and it was made out that it was a big inconvenience. Generally a really unpleasant experience purely because of the staff, will certainly never go here again and don't recommend anyone with young children. Much better quality of hair cut at your average barbers.

Never again! My son had a hair cut there today. While the place itself is quite nice and the concept a good one, the cut itself is horrendous and the lady while pleasant obviously had no idea what she was doing. I could have done a better job myself with my eyes closed. My son had long surfer-y hair and I said I wanted to keep it fairly long and even showed her photos as an example yet he ended up with short hair. I am beyond gutted. I have now booked an appointment in another salon to see whether they can fix it. I am angry with myself for not checking reviews beforehand and not stopping the lady earlier and walking out. Would never go there again even if you paid me - there is no way the person who cut my son's hair is a qualified hairdresser. Yes: that bad.

Our 2 year old son's first professional haircut (we got away with trimming it ourselves up until now). We now realise why people pay!
Emily was excellent 👍 Friendly, fast & efficient. Took a total of 15 minutes in/out. No tears or fussing by our son (helped he was in a Peppa Pig trance). Highly recommend this place.

I understand now why the reviews are not brilliant. We booked an appointment to go there from Maidstone for our child, it took 50 minutes to arrive and luckily we were 5 minutes earlier because the traffic was terrible , arrived there there was a sign on the door saying "Sorry the salon today it is closed because of a sickness". Now I understand these things can happen but the lady was inside she didn't even call us to let us know or sort the problem out, nothing. She could only say I am sorry in addition of being rude. Luckily we found a Turkish salon on the same street, very kind which did a perfect cut for my son. Not recommended at all.

I have to agree with previous review. Just because a place has kiddie chairs and a DVD player does not make it child friendly. You need staff who actually like children. Took my one year old for her first haircut and the stylist was awful. Was annoyed that a one year old did not sit perfectly in the seat and reluctantly gave me a box of hair as a ’momento’. Will be heading back to Lizz in Islington for a hairdresser that really does understand kids and is a great hairdresser
