Really good hairdresser and a lovely person. I’ve been going to her for years and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Technically she gives a great cut and colour and always makes sure you are happy… which unfortunately sometimes means she runs late but for the quality I can wait!

This is a lovely little hair salon and the owner Irena is a very talented and dedicated hairdresser. She did my highlights beautifully and with much care and ended up giving me a free hair cut on top of it! Great experience, I would highly recommend it.

Sooo good, a local gem.
I had left getting my haircut before holiday too late to go far from my house. At first I was a little put off with this being off of the usual high streets but after reading lots of good reviews I gave it a try. SO happy and will be coming back. The lady is so lovely and clearly has been doing this a long time as she gave the best cut I've had in a long time. Thank you very much!!!

The owner is not fully equipped to treat with customers and takes comments at heart even if polite or fair. She just wants you to seat, close your mouth and let her do what she wants. Could go either ways as she’s good at some hairstyles but she doesn’t listen to you at all.a shame…

Booked via Treatwell 2 days before, arrived after travelling a long way to find out my appointment had been booked over the top of someone so I had to drive all the way home after paying for 2 hours of parking, without my hair cut. I even called in the morning to check my appointment was all good, and no one even answered or called me back. This salon didn’t even bother to check their bookings for that day and let me know my appointment was cancelled. They should have offered me a discount or something to make up for all the trouble and wasted time and money. Not a good experience!!

Even if I don't use to write bad reviews on the products and services that I use, hoping that the owners or employees had a bad day, this time I decided to do it because I want that the owner of the salon to change something and treat the customers better. So... I've been to this salon for the second time. I need to say that I went for the second time just because I was happy with the results. My hair colour went ok. But unfortunately, the services provided are very poor. For the 100 pounds I paid to do my baleyage, I suffered for 4 hours in a chair, watching how the hairdresser took care of 2 other clients. First of all, I want to say that due to the fact that she had 2 more clients, she hurried to make me, pulling my hair while she was washing my head and while she was combing my hair. Focused on quantity (to make as many customers as possible at the same time) and not on quality (to treat customers with care and respect for the money they offer) the owner, who is also a hairdresser, made me feel like she was offering me the job for free. She left me with my head in an uncomfortable sink for 10 minutes while she was doing another client's hair. After that, she ran to wash my hair, wet my clothes, and pierced my earring because it was too hasty. Then, before drying my hair, she combed my hair. I can say that my scalp still hurts as much as she pulled my hair. For this lucking care for the client, I will never return to this salon. It was the worst experience ever. When a woman goes to the salon, she has to feel relaxed, pampered, that's why she pays. Some people work hard for 100 pounds, maybe a full day, and the hairdresser has only shown that she does not appreciate the fact that although her salon is not modern, she still has clients. I support small businesses, that's why I enjoy buying services from them. The owner should invest more in the hair dryer, the brushes and the sink in which she washes the clients and clean the brushes after the clients. She gave me the impression that she was only interested in making a lot of money in a short time and that she didn't care about clients. As a result, she hurried to offer us all three services at the same time, ignoring each of us. I don't go to this salon anymore and I do NOT recommend it !!! I hope that the owner will read this message and make the necessary changes so as not to lose more customers.

I had a haircut here a while back. But the experience I had was so bad that it still upsets me today, so I've decided to leave a review.

It was the worst experience at the hair salon I've ever had. The cut was fine. But Irena almost made me cry in the chair. She was nice to begin with. But started effing and blinding about someone's hair she cut previously - apparently this person made comments that she wasn't too happy or sure about the work Irena was doing on her hair. Thought this was strange but ignored it/carried on with conversation.

Midway through the cut I made a perfectly polite, inquisitive comment about maybe changing the cut a little (can't remember for sure now but it was something like "is that short enough? Should I go shorter?/should we add more layers?"). And Irena got angry at me. I have no idea why. She seemed offended by the fact that I made suggestion. She basically told me off whilst in the chair. Aren't we always being told to have the confidence to keep our hairdresser updated with our thoughts and speak up if were uncertain, rather than suffering in silence!?

Anyway, I had to sit in the chair for the duration of the cut which was horrible. I have no idea what I'd done so wrong to be treated that way. She gave me a slight discount upon paying due to the service I received. Still upsets me to today. I would never return.
