I had my first haircut at Atelier Theory 2 weeks ago with Yoshi. I must say it’s the best haircut I’ve had in London. He considered the condition and texture of my hair. It’s been very easy to manage and I love the shape and volume. Extremely happy with the result. Glad to finally find a reliable hairdresser.

Atsu has been cutting my hair for over a decade. Atelier Theory is his team's latest incarnation and it is the best one yet. Relaxed and stylish surrounding, great location and impeccable Japanese-style service make each visit a great experience. Not only do Atsu and his team have the skills and experience I demand but they also listen to my suggestions and I have not been disappointed even once with the result. Highly recommended!!!

I always judge a hair salon by their hair-washing service and their service is amazing. your hair would be completely cleaned not just roughly washed. they will give you some head massage, and they use great products.

I feel obliged to share my wonderful experience with the salon, and Nami in particular. She listened to my hair story patiently and offered few options. I am very happy with her vision and the result achieved. Needles to say, I will be back.

After last Asian hairstylist destroyed my hair completely, I decided to trust the comments and visit here. And I want to briefly summarize my experience：My hair was gently taken care by a lovely and highly professional stylist Kazue after she listened to my request carefully and analyzed how should it be done. And the whole process is smooth and comfortable that I almost fell asleep. So, no noise, no service advertising, no hidden cost and no waiting since it’s by appointment only. The only thing I hope I can experience next time is the massage indicated on their website:) but I totally understand that I came in 10min late because it was a last minute appointment and they are fully booked. Anyway I am very happy with my hairstyle now as it is exactly what I want. I knew it will be easy for me to manage at home as soon as Kauze finished her job! Thank you Kauze and Atelier Theory!

Had a haircut with Yoko, a very lovely Japanese lady. It’s really rare for me to find a salon that suits my aesthetic. Highly recommended if you fancy a Japanese hairstyle :)

Terrible service.
Sent an appointment request 5 days ago and receive an email asking about the details and the new customer deposit because they can’t find my information. After I sent them the previous confirmation email(I am literally using the same name and email address!) and ask about if I still need to pay the deposit, they just disappear and also ignore another follow-up email. To be honest, if Atelier Theory doesn't welcome me to visit, just say it rather than waste my time!!!

I initially put up a 3 star review when I got my perm last year. I've changed this to a four because a year and a half has passed ... And I still have full goddess curls !! Really impressed. And the curls looked a lot more beautiful as my hair grew longer - naturally wavy, full curls. It's still a 4 star because the experience of getting the curls were mediocre at best but the results are 👍👍 Oh, and don't get fooled by the price menu on their homepage. I thought they were charging slightly less than other Asian hair dressers in central London, but the "additional charge" they put per hair length ends up making it the same as market price.
