Excellent customer service as always. Staff are always so friendly and Katherine is fab with my hair. Colour always spot on and she deals with my long thick hair effortlessly! I love how the salon commits to learning and development especially training others! Don't hesitate to book an appointment! Best salon by far! Thank you 😊

I really enjoyed my first experience at the salon, everyone was very friendly from the moment I arrived. I am so happy with my hair, Chloe gave me the perfect cut and colour, it was exactly how I wanted it. I look forward to going back in November to see her 😊

Great customer care and brilliant haircut for my little girl. Rather than giving a general blunt cut we advised something much better with layers and outcome was gorgeous. The lovely young lady was kind enough to add curls in with blow dry too. Great service all in all and we'll be back soon.

Estelle was very welcoming and made me feel at ease when I wanted to change my fringe style to something I weren't sure if it would suit me. She was very understanding when I explained I have never really let anyone go near my hair and so she talked through step by step what was happening. Great conversation to keep the nerves at bay and did an amazing job on my hair and I loved it. Would recommend her to anyone needing a hair cut, I will try and request her again when I need another cut. Thank you Estelle so much!

I love The Vanilla Room, best salon by far! Jenni has been doing my hair for years and I honestly wouldn’t want anyone else doing my hair. Jenni knows my hair better than I do and I always walk out of the salon feeling like a million dollars (oh and my blow dry holds for a week). It’s never just a hair cut/colour etc, I’ve learnt how to look after my hair properly and keep it in good condition, this is all through advice from Jenni. All the Vanilla Room team are lovely, you feel welcome the minute you step through the door, it’s not just your local high street hairdressers, it’s on another level and if you want a top quality luxury experience this is the place to go!! Having had some bad hair experiences in the past, I was nervous regarding my appointment today. I was booked in with Melody. She listened to my concerns, and understood what I wanted to be done. I was very happy with the cut, and recommendations from Melody. I liked the fact I had a private room, which helped me feel at ease. The young lady who washed my hair was also very good. I will definitely be returning.

After being highly recommended, I decided to book my mum in for a haircut and colour. So we specifically booked her in with the most senior stylist and emphasized on this. Firstly, she was told to pop in for a colour test on her hair and then 5 days later was told to pop in again for a skin test just in case of an allergic reaction. Two days later, she turned up early for her appointment and a young man started working on her hair. She got her hair cut and then as the stylist was blow drying her hair, she questioned whether she was suppose to get her hair dyed before it being blow dried. After questioning staff, she was told she was only booked in for a cut & blow dry despite being colour tested and skin tested. The stylist had spent so long on her hair that she was told they were running out of time to do a full head dye (because they were closing soon) so she eventually settled on getting just her roots done to cover her greys. £125 later, my mum left the salon feeling disappointed. This salon was unprofessional and made her feel under-valued and frustrated. Her hair is uneven, like layers were not blended in at all and her roots were so poorly executed, it was not only patchy, the colour didn't even match her hair colour.
I called to speak to the manager about her experience and was offered time for someone to look at my mums hair and try to fix the problem. But my mum was so traumatised by the whole experience of feeling insignificant and belittled, she does not want to set foot into this salon ever again.
