Lovely salon and good customer service however they do not know how to blow dry curly - wavy hair

Took 2 hours my hair is medium- thin - and even in the end wasn’t good my hair felt very dry. Tom is not experienced in blow drying and using the brush simultaneously.
Never experienced this in any other salon.
If they were more experienced I would come again.

He should know how to do different hair types not just straight. Anyhow he still needs to know how to blow dry properly it’ll save people time and look better and feel smoother.

Tomek has been cutting and colouring (highlighting) my hair for many years now. I cannot recommend him enough - always does a great job! I have my eyebrows done there as well and I always leave very happy. Much better service than many of the chains along the High Road.❤

Absolutely delightful experience at Alicia Hair & Beauty. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I’ve had constant compliments on my hair cut since I had it done. Alicja has always done a fantastic job. I could not recommend this the salon more highly and will definitely continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you!

Quite disappointed with this experience after reading such great reviews and the photos on Google.

Had highlights done by Tom and it was the fastest and smallest t section highlights ever, not much care went into picking small strands of hair to make sure they blend in. I was left with rather streaky asymmetric highlights pictured. I asked for icy highlights and a toner was not used so they aren't icy at all.

Additionally the hair wash was quite rough, I said be careful of getting water in my ears as I've had problems with my ears (not usually a problem in other salons) but multiple times water went into my ear. Twice the water was turned back on my head before reaching desired temperature - once it was cold and the second time too hot. Finally, no dairy milk for the coffee, just oat milk.

I expected a relaxing, professional experience with the prices and the reviews, but was left disappointed and won't be returning.

They are very sociable. But the hair dyeing service is terrible. I want to full color my hair to Brown but no they dyed my hair from blonde to black. I looked very well that also told them but they said it was brown. due to the quality of my hair…. The first time I saw dyeing 1 hair less than 1 hour. I have been to the hairdresser so many times so I know all the hairdressing procedures and the time taken. Maybe it's different from place to place but it's impossible to dye it brown without me seeing it and you and everyone say my hair is black. So bad !!!

I have been using Alicia for several years. She is a brilliant colourist and stylist plus a really lovely lady. Nothing is too much. I would highly recommend.

I give Alicia 5 stars and more, she did my highlights perfectly, I am very happy and will definitely go there again. I went in search of a new hairdresser recently and visited several salons, she was the only one who smiled when I came in and I immediately felt I am in good hands, she listened and did not try to talk me out of what I wanted, like all the others did, and I got exactly what I wanted, beautiful blond highlights, thank you Alicia!

I always have an amazing experience at Alicia Hair & Beauty salon. I am really impressed with the professional approach and wonderful atmosphere. It is a pleasure and very relaxing time to do my hair there. Definitely deserves 5 or even more stars. I am delighted with my recent look. Alicia recommended blonde colour balayage and this type of hair just suits me perfectly. I receive compliments from friends and family. I've also had a cut & blowdry. After all these treatments I have a very refreshing and modern look.

The salon is in a great location and Alicia is very talented and professional.She always listens to my wishes and offers very good and helpful advice.
