Nico is great and did a super job on my terribly home coloured hair. The highlights he did, to rescue my attempts at going brown (bad idea) look amazing and I was absolutely delighted with the result. Thank you SO MUCH Nico, for giving me my colour/look back. I feel over the moon. You didn’t only saved my hair but also styled it in a lovely trendy way. I will definitely be back.

An unassuming place in trendy Primrose Hill, but Nikki gave me a great haircut. The massage when I had the conditioning treatment was great too. I’d just had surgery so had to be a bit careful of my body and Nikki couldn’t have been more kind and careful. A great hair salon. No frills, but really good. I also loved that they didn’t have the regular hair salon endless banter of ‘so where are you going on holiday’ etc. 😂

Always a delight, always the best! My search for a hair salon around where I live since moving house 18 months ago has come to an end now I have found Nico at Shades. For colour, cut, blow dry and all round loveliness, he’s the best!

I cannot recommend Nico highly enough - he is extremely professional, kind and his work is always impeccable. I have had some balayage done and it is the best colour I have ever had!

Just been in for a balayage with Ewa and it was great. I had about 2 inches of root growth and then a nasty orange block of colour from an self-inflicted incident with lightning spray in the summer, and then blonde ends. Ewa sorted it out and now it’s a lovely vanilla blonde balayage and looks really natural. The whole experience was great, I normally go to RUSH hair but I think from now on I’ll go to Shades. They really took their time and I didn’t feel hurried out the door, as is sometimes the case. I’ve got quite difficult, fine, curly hair and Ewa really understood it and made it look beautiful.
