I’ve tried many salons and this one (and their sister salon) are the absolute best in Leicester! Always look forward to coming to see Ellie to have my hair done (and a good natter) Maisie makes the best coffee and it’s nice to have a chat with Keeley between her clients too.

Superb salon- friendly and welcoming. Love how healthy my hair is now feeling and really trust Stacey to tell me honestly what she recommends. Thanks so so much! See you again in a couple of weeks!

At trendy locks we try to make every experience as pleasurable as possible. The girls will always greet you with a smile, the girls are forever trying to offer you as many treatments as possible so we don't have to turn anyone away. Booking is recommended as we get so busy we cannot always meet walk in appointments xx

DO NOT GO HERE I went for a lash infill and not only did the women stick both my eyes together which was extremely painful just a few days after having them done I notice how un even and poorly done they were and they started to come off in big clumps pulling out my own lashes. When I rang up for advice on what to do the women was extremely rude and unhelpful. I also got my nails done there and they were really miss shaped and lumpy. Definitely won’t be going back.

Been several times to both Trendylocks Salon and had nails, dermaplaning and my hair, have also done 4 training courses and already booked for the next one. Tish and the girls are amazing and so lovely, I go that often now I feel like I’ve got to know them. Always welcoming and was great to pop into Fairfield to get trim and blow dry now it’s reopened. Can’t wait to see the Wigston salon and their amazing refurb when it reopens!

Trendy locks is a lovely hairdressers along with the staff . I work different shifts and they always manage to sort an appointment for me. I usually have stacy doing my hair. She is friendly and will talk me through everything she is going to do with my hair. All the stsff are lovely, friendly and chatting. The salon is always clean and they sell msny hair products at reasonable prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my hair done, and i highly recommended trendy wigston and Fairfield.

I've never taken the time to leave a review, especially where I have not been happy with a service however this is an exception.

I had an appointment last Thursday afternoon at the Birstall branch to get my eyelashes and nails done. I was very excited particularly as I had my engagement party two days later, which I mentioned. Starting with my nails, there was a whole situation at first instance about whether they could remove the existing gel because their 'insurance wouldn't cover' any damage or issues of removal. Never heard of this & why is this not explained when booking?! After pleading they eventually agreed to continue with my nails, however the lady who was doing my nails (young girl with braces- don't remember name) was SO ROUGH with removal and filing that she filed a whole chunk of skin off my pinky finger (see picture). She hurt my fingers which is funny considering their insurance policy on damages...Additionally, she was cutting the skin around my nails but leaving behind exposed pieces (see picture). It was sloppy, I had to ask her to file some nails further as the shapes weren't matching. I asked for a milky white colour, which for some reason they didn't have (such a regular colour!?? I settled for french tips. However she didn't take the time to look at my nails properly and proceeded with the base / curing it after removal of the existing polish. It was after all this that I looked at my nails and saw red specks of my old polish all over EACH of my nails. Very visibly there. I showed it to her and she proceeded to remove.. I shouldn't have had to show her this! My pinky and other nails were burning under the curing lamp because of the exposed skin she'd created..

Then it came to my eyelashes: I had paid for individuals, but the whole appointment took way less time than all the other times I've had my eyelashes done elsewhere, this was strange to me at the time but I was tired. She kept drinking her Monster energy drink throughout and the smell of the drink / her breath drove me insane but I didn't say anything. By the end, she had glued several lashes to my bottom lash line which took forever to fix and was burning my eyes. Eventually I asked her to leave it and I'd do it myself later. Fast forward a few days, half the lashes are gone & when I look at the fallen ones I can see that there was nothing 'individual' about how she glued it on- as you can see from the picture she cut corners adding numerous lashes at once to speed up her process. I didn't like the lashes at all.

All this in the context of me having discussed with her that I was due to have my engagement party two days later... I wasn't as upset leaving the salon as I was just tired and wanted to finish but felt really unhappy later that evening at home. Not a great experience.

For the BIRSTALL* Trendy Locks Salon - I am always so impressed by how talented, kind and funny these ladies are on a consistent basis - Grace has been doing my nails for almost 6 months now and I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else! I had tried a few other salons in the years before, but nowhere can you find someone as attentive, positive or technically skilled as Grace and her colleagues. I would recommend this place to anyone in AND around the Birstall area, it is always worth the trip! Biggest kindest thanks to these ladies!
