Can’t recommend this salon enough! The girls are really lovely and am always so please with my results! Liza has been cutting my hair for years and has now created an amazing salon of her own with such a welcoming atmosphere!

Great experience at Embellish from start to finish.
My appointment ran to time, full consultation, amazing head massage at the basin (almost fell asleep) colour and cut was better than I hadeven hoped for.

I unfortunately had a bad experience. I asked for a cut to remove all dead ends (which I got) but layers were cut into my hair. I do not have layers as I like my hair thick and one length. I only knew she had cut layers when she asked if I have layers in the back aswell. I thought 'aswell?!', but it was too late for the front of my hair. I told her I don't have layers and she then told me she has 'shaped' the front of my hair, as if she had done me a favour, which I had not asked for. I was very unhappy but am not confrontational so paid the £47 and left. I already have post partum hair loss, and now my hair is thinner because of these layers. I didn't like the way my hair sat so went to a different salon who commented how blocky the front was and the back was an inch longer than the front. I dont feel she took to assess my hair or discuss the cut. I don't plan on returning.

Honestly I don't think this hairdressers is qualified. I wasn't happy with the haircut. I showed pictures of how I wanted my hair cut, I wanted choppy layers, a long side fringe, layers in the back and below shoulder length. But I didn't get any of those, my hair ended up too short and puffed out. I also asked about highlights, the woman didn't listen to the colour that I was enquiring about possibly having, I told her I'd never dyed my hair before and that I would need a patch test first and she said that I wouldn't need one. Everyone knows you're supposed to have a patch test before dying hair !!
