An awful experience. Would not recommend at all. Staff are unprofessional and couldn’t be bothered if you were there or not. I attended the spa through a groupon voucher with my sister for her birthday present to have a full body massage and a facial and I was sorry I took her. The massage was only neck, back and shoulder and just felt like a light stroke where the masseuse only stood on one side of me and didn’t make an effort. Also, baby oil was used, no special oils or anything. The facial was a splash of water and a slap in the face where the woman left me for longer than 10 minutes with a face mask on and cotton pads with warm water on my eyes which was weird while she was shouting outside the room on FaceTime to her friend about buying shoes. My sister and I both thought her breathe smelled of alcohol when doing the facial.... The hairdryers were right outside the massage room so it was not a relaxing experience at all and staff would just shout to each other talking about rubbish when we were there. It was very unprofessional and it came across that because we’d booked through groupon that we weren’t treated as paying customers. Awful place, awful staff, wouldn’t go again.

It was the nearest groupon voucher for my area as a treat for me and my mum. Poor/weak massage, smudges nail varnish and to top it off £60 PARKING FINE for staying over by 2 minutes over 3 hours when we couldn’t be fitted in treatment after treatment. Never again

Very clean and professional salon Hayley the owner is lovely nothing is too much for her , felt very welcome. my all over colour cut and blow dry was amazing Lasted days! . I’ve had a tan and nails done previous which again was second to none wouldn’t go anywhere else . Free parking onsite which is an added bonus . 5* from me ! wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gloss hair and beauty To anyone !

Visited yesterday, with my mum, using Groupon vouchers for half head of foils, cut n blow. I have to admit, I was worried and thinking of cancelling after reading reviews! Am I glad I didn’t! We both not only enjoyed our time their but both left feeling transformed. The small salon is a concession withinTotal Fitness gym, but feels like a lovely traditional hairdressers, with customers in and out - mostly regulars and you feel part of their circle. Chatted and laughed away for the 2+ hours, had a drink and enjoyed the company and experience. When home, the hubby complimented me, then son said I looked younger and the amazingly, my 15 year old daughter actually said she liked it!! Had to lie down after that 🤣. Thanks so much Sarah and Hayley.

Where to even start... Me and my friends came here using a groupon as a treat for two of our birthdays. We had already booked in for full body massages and blow dries, Which was stated on the phone and again in text messages two days before. On the day we arrived at the salon and first impressions weren't great... as soon as you walk through the door they have their own little reception desk which was a mess with rubbish and looked really unprofessional, the young girl told us to go and use the spa facilities within Total Fitness (had to find our own way around - no organisation to it) and come back at our treatment times. To which we did.
Two us where due in half an hour after the first two, 15 minutes later the first two appeared back in the cafe to tell us that the 30 minute full body massage was a 10 minute gentle stroke on her back and our other friend hadnt had anything done at all. They were asking us to choose other treatments as they'd had to send a member of staff home (not sure the truth behind this)...
So we all went back in to the salon and I said that we wanted the treatments we had booked and therefore could we come back another day. The response I got was no because one of us has had their treatment to which I advised she hadn't she had only had a 10 minute back massage which wasn't great and it was supposed to be a 30 minute full body massage. They said no it says on the site that it's a back one and I said no it was a full body massage. Tbh it was a pointless conversation as I had proof anyway from my screenshot and text message etc. They both didn't say much after this... Bare in mind this was going on in the middle of the salon with other customers all sat around observing, very unprofessional. We got no apology and I found their mannerism and tone rude. I will never return. I advise no one uses this. Total Fitness need to get rid as its dragging their reputation down to!
The only good thing about the day was obviously my friends amazing company and the spa facilities themself in the Total Fitness area... loved the jacuzzi!

I had my highlights and cut done at Gloss and I was very pleased with the results. I received a lot of compliments on the colour afterwards. I would highly recommend Gloss, staff were lovely and gave lots of useful advice regarding products and best way to look after my hair/ colour.
