I had my first ever curly cut with Lianne and the way she cut my hair was completely different from any other cut, I was shocked at first when she cut what seemed to be a huge chunk out of both sides of my hair! However it immediately gave a great shape and she continued to cut my hair expertly! I then had a really lovely conditioning treatment and she explained what she was doing and why and gave some great tips on how to care for curly hair. I have left it a week since the experience, to see if I can manage it myself and if it looks good and was it worth the cost. Well I can definitely say yes! It was worth every penny, I haven’t had one bad hair day, my curls are looking great and it’s so much easier to do now. Thanks Lianne, it has made the world of difference to me!

Aveda is truly an experience!! I will go nowhere else!! Aaron is truly amazing, not just with his artistry...he's a wizard with colour, but so attentive and caring! He invests in all his clients. I always look forward to my hair being washed, the head massage is just so relaxing. You always leave the salon not only feeling like a million dollars but very relaxed. Cathie, the manager always goes that extra mile to ensure you get the best service possible. All the staff are so lovely. I highly recommend Aveda.

I was quite nervous trying a new hair dresser, but having read lots of positive reviews I decided to take the plunge and I’m so pleased I did!
Lianne is very knowledgeable, approachable and takes the time to listen to what her clients want. She recently put some warm caramel highlights through my brunette hair and I’m really pleased with the result - it’s the first time I’ve shown a hair dresser a photo of what I’d like and actually left the salon with exactly what I asked for! I absolutely love Mary Ann Weeks in Guildford! The 90 minute Aroma massage is my go to treatment and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Crina in particular is wonderful at carrying out this treatment. She makes you feel very comfortable and tailors the massage to exactly what you need. Lovely music, smells and environment. Worth every penny!

In the past I've always been nervous of going to a new hairdressers. It's hard to find someone who can cut curly hair well. That is until I discovered Lianne.
I've been having my hair cut at Mary Ann Weeks for over a year and I have been really pleased with my hair every time. Lianne is very knowledgeable about curls and I would highly recommend her to anyone with curly hair.

I came to MAW and had a facial and also the best massage I have ever had by Natalie. She tailors the treatments to what you want / need and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a 5* treatment.
I also had a Balyage and cut and blow dry by Aaron (styling director) who was equally fantastic! He listened to what I wanted and was able to apply his expertise with my expectations and I was blown away with the finished product. He also gave 5* treatment and I would highly recommend him as well.
Thank you both for your service and kindness, you delivered an excellent service and everyone in the salon was very welcoming and friendly despite most of Guildford having the hot water cut off for over 24 hours which must have been very stressful for all but the service you (and the rest of team) delivered did not falter. As someone who doesn’t get their hair done very often, I decided to come to Mary Ann Weeks to have a balayage done decently so I wouldn’t have to come back in for a while. During the first session, I had a good experience with Aaron but I was not happy with how the colour had lifted. Instead of telling me there was nothing they could do, they offered to re-do it for me with no charge to get it to what I initially wanted. Second session in and I can say I am so pleased and happy with how its turned out. I really appreciated the calm and composed way Aaron handled the situation and I’ll definitely come back ❤️ What I thought was going to be a decent job done, was instead an amazing job. I feel so refreshed and happy! Thanks again!

Wow! I’m never going anywhere else!! This salon is a wonderful experience, such a beautiful environment to be in! Aaron is truly incredible, it was an honour to have him colour/cut my hair! His technique is insane. He will leave you feeling beautiful, I had such a lovely experience and want to book in again immediately to come visit Aaron again!
