Mulberry & Thyme

So so glad I found this beautiful salon, it is so welcoming and unique. The team are all very kind and fantastic at what they do! Carly and Katie have rescued my lockdown-gone-wrong hair colour, they always come up with new ideas and prices are very fair! Can only recommend, best salon I’ve been to in years!!!

DO NOT USE this salon - it is a total RIPOFF - they added £50 to my bill (for a cut/blowdry and full tint) without even mentioning it or explaining anything, so that instead of paying the £109 I was quoted on the phone and which is on their price list, I ended up paying £159. I was in a rush when paying as I was running late but when I rang back to query this, their only answer was that they had had to use extra tint on my long hair. At no stage did anyone explain this to me, it is nowhere on their price list and it wasn't what I was quoted on the phone. I have been colouring my hair for over 35 years and although it is chest-length and thick, I have NEVER been charged extra at ANY salon because of this. AVOID!

I have been coming to this hairdressers for about 3 years since moving to the area. I have had my hair done by either the owner Carly or Katie & on each occasion I have been very pleased with the results after each of my visits, I come to this hairdressers every 6 weeks for a full tint colour & wash, cut, blow dry & styling. All of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend this hairdressers to others, You won’t be disappointed. They also serve their customers with a good range of hot drinks, i always look forward to my next visit to this hairdressers & my hair always looks lovely after each visit.

Very friendly welcoming hair salon. Excellent service from both Carly and Katie. Even give a mini massage before starting hair styling. Hair always looks and feels great after a visit and they give lots of good advice for home hair care.

I couldn’t recommend this hair salon more! Nicola did my hair and it is the best colour that I have ever had! Super friendly and professional service. I can’t wait to go back!
