Hair & Beyond

It states on Google that the salon is not open till 9.30 even though there was an appointment made for me at 9am so I called them at 9am to see if the business was open as I did not want to wait around for 30 mins + they were open. I asked the lady very politely if I left my house then I'd be with her in 15 she stated she had someone else in at 10 and wouldn't be able to finish my hair all I wanted was a trim wash and blowdry I only have short hair, she then went on quite rudely stating she wouldn't be able to finish I would still be charged fully. I asked her if I could cancel she stated its a 24 hour policy, I asked if I could rearrange again rambled the same rubbish. Just no help whatsoever! Everything I asked about to try and get this situation resolved she was firmly and abruptly shooting me down with an excuse completely unhelpful and extremely rude towards me. I'm glad I never went there to have my hair done now what happened to nice people in salons? Well steer clear from here unless you want to be spoken down to and made to feel 2 inches tall terrible company and terrible customer service!!

Love this place - it's easy to park outside, the staff are lovely and my haircut is better than when I've been to salons charging twice the price. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Really fabulous hairdressers second to none

My wife has been having Emma at Wavelengths, Caerau Lane, do her hair for about 3 years now. Today she turned up for her appointment and Emma tried to take her temperature without my wife's consent. Emma said that she had to take her temperature whilst my wife insisted that it was an invasion of her privacy and that only a doctor could do that. Emma also said she had never fixed anyone's hair without a mask. So, if you have any medical condition which prevents you wearing a mask my advice would be to not go to this salon.

Well happy with my hair cut very friendly and made me feel welcome will defo be useing this hairstylist again
