My first cut since Xmas so it was a big job! Jasmine was her usual lovely and talented self, nothing seemed to bother her, being in a mask all day must be really uncomfortable. I had the same high standard of service I always get, just with a mask and gloves on and no coffee. Can't praise Bentley and Brown, and Jasmine enough, I'm delighted with my hair and the whole experience. Highly recommended.

My first trip there I chose champagne toner but the stylists put in icy toner without even discussing it with me as they deemed this to be the solution to get rid of the yellow tones which is what I had come in for. I queried what colour they put in when my hair was too silver for my liking and they admitted they had decided to go with icy instead of champagne. I voiced my dislike of the colour and was told to go home and think on it. I said I really hated it and would be happy to pay extra but can they just do what I asked for and what we had discussed. They washed out the icy and put in the champagne and I felt happier. I felt uncomfortable at complaining because I hate the be someone who complains so I gave the stylist a £20 tip as a thank you for putting in the colour I asked for (which I thought was a bit ridiculous as that was the colour I asked for!) But I didn't want to leave on bad terms because it was great that the tonal variations I had before were gone. On my second visit I specifically said I want my dark roots gone and I want a "money maker" type look around my face so I had lighter pieces around my face and for a top up of champagne toner. I was on my way directly afterwards for a mammogram due to cancer concerns from my GP and was a bit mentally distracted. When the stylist started putting foils in I reminded her I did NOT want my roots to show and she said she'd put peroxide on my baby hairs and roots. I had messaged the hair dresser prior to making the appointment as well to clarify I wanted my roots covered. I was charged £58 pounds for something that barely looks different. I Facebook messaged the company but had no response, explanation, apology. I will not be going back because I am obviously not valued as a customer because firstly they can change the colour of the toner without my consent and secondly just not listen when I request something as basic as covering my roots. If I would have had the time to stay and complain I would have but I was off to the breast care unit. I'm just really disappointed I've had a negative experience there because they're all friendly enough. I just wish they had bothered to respond to my Facebook messages. Edit to say still no reply to my messages a month later.
