Unique Hair Salon

Unable to get to my regular hairdresser (in London) and a bit nervous to try somewhere new but I needn't have worried! Friendly team, made sure they understood what I wanted and did a great job of both the colour and cut. Will definitely visit again if we're in the area. Highly recommended!

I was in Welshpool for an interview and decided to get a haircut as I was totally fed up of my long, untamed hair - and I wanted something drastic! I messaged the salon via Facebook and they were very helpful, quick replied, and booked me in at a convenient time.

The salon itself is bright, modern, and friendly - a lovely buzz of chatter and laughter when I arrived. From start to finish I was really well looked after, offered drinks, chatted to be the friendly team. I wanted a very drastic change in my style and Meg, my stylist, did an incredible job despite clearly being terrified I would regret me decision or hate it! She talked me through options constantly, checked up at different stages, and did a very lovely and well finished cut. I'm incredibly happy with it.

To cap it all off, the prices are unbelievably reasonable! At £29 for a cut from long to pixie, and just over an hour and a half, I have never had a better value styling.

Unique Hair Salon is in a lovely setting at Coed Y Dinas - lots of parking, you can pop to the cafe for food or a coffee afterwards, or browse the garden centre and shops. It's a nice calm and relaxed environment.

I needed some colour correction and a cut. From the ease of booking an appointment through Facebook, to the very warm and friendly welcome I had a great experience. Cilla have me a great cut and colour, nothing was too difficult. The salon feels really calm and friendly even when busy, and I felt much more comfortable than I have at other salons. Would highly recommend the salon

So we found this hairdressers around 20 minutes away from our accommodation at Upper House farm cottages Shrewsbury, they were able to fit us 5 of us in for 4 hair ups and 1 wash and blow dry (we did book in advance) and they even got staff to come in to help get us done quicker which we all appreciated.
We are all very happy with what we got done and can't thank staff enough for their time and friendly service expecially with us being unable to do a face to face consultation. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a visit to Unique Hair Salon and an appointment with Cilla for a restyle. I've gone from shoulder length curly hair (which I've had for 15 years) to a really short pixie style. Cilla is BRILLIANT! I'm so pleased with the result! A very talented young hairstylist. Very attentive, professional and her advice is brilliant. I am so pleased I found her and Unique Hair Salon. The salon is really lovely and the staff are friendly and accommodating and really do look after you. I have no hesitation in recommending this salon to you ☺

My first visit to Unique this morning. A lovely comfortable salon with a relaxed and friendly vibe. My hair was restyled by Kyle, he certainly knocked my tatty tresses back into shape! A really great cut! Being relatively new to the area, I think I've found my go to salon!

Can absolutely see why this place has so many good reviews. Such a lovely and pleasant experience I haven't been to the hairdressers in 5+ years and this will now be my go to place. Staff were so lovely and friendly and welcoming, couldn't fault it at all. I was so nervous and would happily go back tomorrow!
