I asked if I could purchase the groupon in the shop when I attend.
I was advised that I could do this & would need to come in for a skin test. I advise the hairdresser that I had been to Fossi in the past but it was about 2 years ago & had also then had a skin test.
The hairdresser said that I would need another test before my appointment as understandably it had been a while since the last tested me.
A few weeks later I called again to let them know I was coming the Saturday before for my skin test as asked.
This done, the week leading up to my appointment I called a third time to check that it would still be ok to purchase my groupon at my appointment & check the price again as I didn’t want to come & then unable to do so. This time speaking to the hairdresser whom was due to do my hair, I advised her that i had had my skin test & all was fine & that I had my hair done at Fossi before so I knew where to come.
The following Saturday I drove to Norwich again & paid parking & attended my appointment. The middle aged hairdresser due to cut my hair said that she would not honour my agreed groupon as I had my hair done there before two years ago.
I said advised the hairdresser that I had not been advised of this in my three calls & two attendances to the salon even though I had told them that I had been before in the past. She just argued back. I was then asked to come out the back some other clients couldn’t here.
At this point I advised her that she was trying to blaming me as to whiich she replied yes I am, you can’t have it done on groupon if you’ve been here before.
So after two journeys & paying for parking twice I left without my hair being done.
The middle aged hairdresser was old enough to know better. She never once tried to contact me to stop me from driving in & making matters worse, common sense to do so, nor did she apologise or offer to honour the appointment that she had made a mistake on. She was nothing rude & no customer care skills.
Clearly not concerned about right from wrong , doing the right or thing building a good reputation.
