I would have been a new customer for this hairdressers, had I been given the chance. I arranged an appointment for a wash, cut and blow dry today, Sat 11th Sept at 3pm. Two hours before my appointment, I was phoned by a member of staff to ask if they could rearrange my appointment. Upon asking why, I was told that a hairdresser was unwell. Whilst I appreciate that can't be helped, I was not offered another appointment until Tuesday next week but I am away then. After mulling over the situation, I rang the hairdressers back and asked if the appointment could not be rearranged for today, given that the whole procedure takes about 50 mins - it's not like I'm asking for hair extensions which take hours. I was told a definitive no. This has caused me a great deal of inconvenience and I would not recommend this place as had they had any concern for me as a new customer, they would have squeezed me in. Clearly, the needs of the customer do not matter. They were simply not bothered one bit.
