4.8.18 - Booked an appointment for today at 9.30 for two braids on my daughter. I like to get this done for our holiday which we are leaving for late tomorrow night. I booked the appointment over a week ago and was very impressed with the gentleman who dealt with my telephone call. Arrived at the salon this morning to find that there was only a barber working who didn't know who else was coming in. After waiting 15mins, the barber called the hairdresser and 'reminded' her of my appointment. He then informed me that 'she is running late, can you do 10.30?'. At this point I walked out and heard the barber tell his customer that the hairdresser 'forgot' my appointment! What a way to run a business, unorganised and unprofessional! The one star is the man I booked with and the help given by the barber.

An excellent hairdressers for ethnic hair based in Borehamwood situated with a string of shops in Shenley Road. Parking is easy with a small road running along side the high street main road. Parking is low cost, with a free period for 30 minutes and small charges thereafter, with further parking down the side streets. Other services offered include teeth whitening and sauna. Excellent staff operating efficiently in smart clean premises. The predominant number of customers for hair seem to be male.

Called in the morning of the 3ed for August to book a space for 19:00 on the same day. Arrived at 18:50. "please take a seat" the man said. 19:30 I asked whether he was ready as I had plans in the evening and he said would be another hour as there were two more people before me... The nerve... The greed. I won't be going back!!!! Greed... Could have gone somewhere done the road before the other places closed but the guy just wanted my money.

Well I was a bit dubious coz I'm used to my own barber's but the guys in here really know how to cut and fade hair.its now my new barber's would definitely recommend.worth calling first to reserve a space or you could wait 1-2 HOURS on a Friday.theres also a women's side doing plats and weave looked very busy but can't comment on how good they are.

The haircuts are immaculate. However, there is a long waiting time as it is normally very busy. The haircut is almost worth the wait.

Wouldnt recommend didnt do what i asked, what hairdressers dont use scissors so unless u have your hair blended, blended and more blended its not good had to go somewhere else to get my hair sorted out to how i wanted it

Meh, went to these guys because my usual barber is abroad. Didn't cut my hair the way I wanted it and then charged me more than my usual barbers price. They dont know how to cut properly and left me with an uneven cut.

They also use blunt clippers so dont be suprised if you end up with a rash, oh and they dont 0 gap properly so you may end up with cuts like i did.

All in all, really not happy with this place and cannot wait for this to grow back so I can return to my usual barbershop (D&L's in Holloway).

Only thing I'll say is they are friendly and wait time wasnt too long, hence the 2 stars instead of 1.

Love these guys. They really know how to set you up with the haircut you need.
