Fatou's Afro and European hairdressers

After having a bad experience with a previous hairdresser I came to see fatou and I can honestly she was amazing not only was her customer service brilliant my hair is absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I am very fussy with my hair but I have never been more impressed with a hairdresser than fatou Go to this salon you will not be disappointed

I had used Fatou a few years ago, got excellent service and gave her a big tip. However, yesterday I turned up without an appointment, and there was a hand written scrawled note on the door saying back soon and to call. I did and kept getting cut off. I texted eventually and she replied saying she was in a meeting! I said I'd wanted highlightes and would come tomorrow about 11. Got there at 10.15 and found no-one there. I called and she groggily told me she'd overslept! She then asked me what kind of hair I had (when I relayed this to my mum later I said I should have said I had goat hair!). She said she'd be there at 11.30 so I got there at 12 and 2 other people were there so had to wait an hour. After she'd dried my hair I asked her to use the straighteners on it. To say she did it so fast I resembled worzel gummage is an understatement. Not happy at all especially as it cost me £50 for the privilege. As another reviewer had said no apology or customer service. I will not be returning and suggest you think twice and a Canadian singer once said.

Arrived at the time agreed for my appointment and Fayou was in the middle of another client’s hair. After 15 mins Fatou advised me that she was running late and would be doing another client’s hair before attending to mine. This meant I would have at least a 3 hour wait. No apology from Fatou at all. I even telephoned her to inform her that I was on my way, yet she never had the courtesy to let me know she would be late for my appointment. Appalling service and I would not recommend at all.
Total disrespect for my time. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NOT THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NO CUSTOMER CARE SHOWN.

Great hair dresser ..just make sure you book in advance because the waiting time can be very long

My experience was terrible. My appointment was at 5pm for a wash, treatment and trim but I arrived at 4.40pm and was happy to wait if it wasn't possible to be seen earlier. On arrival, I noticed that Fatou was some way behind the previous client's hair and I did wonder whether I would have a long wait ahead. I wasn't greeted but she simply motioned to a chair for me to sit and wait. At 5pm, she stopped doing the other client's hair and gestured for me to sit in the chair to have my hair washed. I have very thick, long natural hair but she rushed my wash and treatment and had me under the dryer in 7 minutes! I was under the dryer for 30mins whilst she went back to the other client and then played on her phone. At 5.35pm she dried my hair, using a dirty brush along with the hairdryer. She physically took old weave hair out of the brush and put it straight into my hair! As for the trim, she made 2 parts in my hair and snipped 3 times. She then asked me to transfer her money via BACS before she was done! That was all the care and attention I received. Absolutely no customer service and a very rushed job. I will not be returning.

Reasonable prices for good hairdresser.

Amazing work, great service and no stress booking. She's a seasoned professional. All whilst tending to her lovely son, she managed to finish miles quicker than a previous salon I had the same hairstyle done. Will be returning very soon. Thank you
