What can I say... Kate is amazing at what she does! I spent most of my life going to every barber & salon you can imagine, never 100% satisfied or staying in the one place. I went to see Kate almost 5 years ago and I've been going ever since! Kate is incredibly talented at what she does, suggesting new styles/cuts & Ive always been over the moon with the results. The team she has built are amazing & you're always made to feel welcome. Both salons are incredibly inviting and I could not recommend Kates's services more, if you are undecided just give them a try... I guarantee you'll keep coming back! They have a great Gents package which is worth doing if you're like me and need tidying up every few weeks- plus its far more affordable than most other salons I've seen and the expertise and attention you get is second to none! If I could give more stars I would!

KP Salons is the first salon i've ever visited after and I won't turn back. The friendly stylists and front of house team always make me feel incredibly welcome and are very hospitable. Kate has been amazing with my hair which has always been a struggle for me as it's very curly! She has directed me on hair gel as well as shampoo to help keep it maintained. Highly recommend!

Kate Preston has been cutting my hair for the past fifteen years at both her Fareham and Gosport branches. This is testimony to her skill and reliability.In fact I would never wish to have my hair styled by anyone else. It surprises me that I never seem to see many men in her salons, but I can assure anyone who has never experienced Kate's expertise will not be disappointed. The premises are delightful and all staff absolutely charming. Needless to say I recommend her highly!!

Horrible is one word to describe this!

I usually don't write reviews, but I couldn't help myself. I'm furious.

I just came back from this hairdresser's an hour ago. I had a really long straight hair and I wanted to get layers throughout. I had to stop the girl in the middle because I saw it going horrible. A more experienced person there came over to fix it, but it couldn't be fixed unfortunately. A chunk of my hair in the front was cut along the jawline. I don't know what to do really. I cant wear it straight or down anymore...not to mention the unevenness of layers all around. I was advised to grow it back and come back to get it cut properly!!! what a hell. right? And get the funniest part, I still had to pay £30 for that and not even an apology)))))

Incredibly poor service. Full stop. Do not go there for a haircut!

Had a curly cut and restyle with Grace. She was absolutely lovely and explained every step as she went along. Fab experience. My curls have never looked so amazing!

Jasmine is an angel. I came to the salon in a bit of a pickle with some very ‘warm’ blonde hair…. I was desperate for those ashy tones and Jasmine did not disappoint! I cannot stop looking at my hair. Her customer service was exceptional and she was very attentive throughout my whole experience at KP Salon in Fareham. Jasmine comes highly recommended by me! Thank you so much for your hard work… one VERY happy customer!!! X

I was treated by Madi today for a complete redo of my hair! She was lovely, funny and professional. You can tell she knows her stuff! I'm so pleased with my new hair! Everyone was super friendly too. This has been my first time at this salon and I'm booked in again.

I had an apointment with Jasmine at 09:45 for a full head of colour - my hair looks and feels amazing! Jasmine was nothing but professional, approachable, personable and attentive from start to finish. She guided me through colour options, allowing me to be in control of decisions, but also guiding me with her knowledge and experince. She offered me hair products, explaining the benefit of each to my personal hair condition, but was not pushy when I explained I already had various items.

My experience was added to by a very kind front of house lady who regularly offered me drinks and ensured I felt relaxed. She was also fantastic at the end when payment was taken, ensuring I felt valued and part of the KP family and giving me a goodie bag.

Thank you to all involved for making my experience such a positive one! I will be back!
