Just moved into the area and had my hair done here today by Claire. The service was first class, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable and the cut and finish was great, I definitely don't need to look anywhere else. Highly recommended.

I had my wedding makeup done at Pure; even though we'd met and discussed it previously and again on the day the 'natural look' I asked for resulted in a foundation that was around 5 shades too dark (if not more) and eye make up so dark and heavy I would have fitted in on the only way is Essex. When I pointed out the foundation colour I was told it wouldn't look so obvious with my hair down (I'm a red head, talc is about right for my skin colour which was pointed out in our initial meeting) and that was the lightest shade of foundation she had!

Sadly I went home very upset, I had to remove all of my makeup and start from scratch. This resulted in me running out of time to finish my hair and secure my vail which fell out multiple times and to be honest ruined half of my wedding pictures.

Unfortunately I can only review my experience and it wasn't a very positive one.

Claire is fantastic. Very friendly and provides a very good service for the cost. Situated in Thorpe Le Soken high st it's close to other venues in the area.

The inside decor is inviting and friendly and often accompanied by the salon 'pooch' Claire's lovable doggy companion.

I've gone to pure hair design many times and never had a visit that wasnt anything other than excellent!

Clair did my daughters hair for prom, the whole visit from start to finish was a great experience. The other ladies in the salon were lovely and made us really welcome and comfortable offering drinks etc. Clair styled my daughter's hair beautifully, using her own creative skills along with a style my daughter had chosen to create a unique style that looked elegant and beautiful. I look forward to my next visit to the salon 😊 thank you ladies 🧡💜❤️

Had my hair done by Clair today for the second time. Absolutely love the outcome. Wasn’t sure what I needed when I arrived but Clair gave me advice and the result was amazing. The whole experience from the wash with the head massage to the restyle (including the lovely cappuccino) was so good. Can’t recommend enough.

Love my hair. Clair is brilliant.
