We're disappointed to find that what should by now be a seasoned hair dresser with decades experience not only in technical aspects of managing hair, but also in customer service, which he would have absorbed as a result of establishing a seat at the celebrated Errol Douglas salon in Belgravia many moons ago, is instead woefully lacking. Junior has failed to inculcate the necessary tenets of technical excellence as well as the valuable social propriety that are essential to not only attracting customers, but necessary to retaining them. My experience of having Junior in my hair in the early millenium was not one I wished to repeat. He handled my follicles like a butcher brutalising writhing electric eels! His attitude was brash and uncouth. And he responded to my queries with a sneer. I booked his partner Joy for subsequent appointments and found her a little less barbaric. It was during these sessions that I observed a woman with severe alopecia sitting to have her hair relaxed. Errol Douglas was extremely uncomfortable about this session. I overheard him telling a colleague that he was amazed that Junior and Joy had not turned the client down, due to the critically delicate condition of her hair. But that they had callously worked on her hair a handful of times of BEFORE. Observing this made my stomach turn. Suffice to say I didn't return, and decided to go natural. It disturbed me that these supposed professionals sold their souls to the devil for money! And it seems Junior has continued to do so without adjusting his frame work of attitude and service. He's still there insinuating his business in well-heeled locations to squeeze money out of people. What he fails to take full stock of, is that there is always a price to pay EVENTUALLY......if you don't aim to achieve personal excellence, and ensure that you only bring the best of the best along with you, you will attract sacrifices that are greater than the sum and total of your entire career endeavours. I'm grateful to my relative for allowing me the opportunity to write here. I hope it makes a useful or helpful difference to those who need it. My condolences to those who have not experienced a professional and courteous service from this business. But Karma is REAL.

I am new to London and I have tried other hairdressers in London before to have a chemical relaxer done but they have always left me with plenty of burns to my scalp. However, I went to Junior Green salon last week Friday and for the first time I was able to have my relaxer done without the pain of burns. Pash, my stylist was very professional and friendly and he definitely knows what he is doing. I would recommend this salon to anyone in London, it is worth it!!

So I normally don’t write reviews, good or bad. But for the past 3 days it’s been gnawing on me to write one for this salon! I’m American and I have never seen this so bad in an American salon! There are so many other Afro salons in London that do amazing work! I came for a consult and I never went back after this! First off, the owner was unwelcoming. He not once said hello or gave me a smile. He just stared at me with this stank look as if I had just made him mad or something. All the stylist except ONE, SIT DOWN while doing hair! They look lazy! Their work is mediocre. I watched 4 clients leave and their hair barely had body! Except it look OILY with curls! The receptionist is rude! She’s rushed me off the phone twice and once in the middle of my sentence. Talking over me, then hung up after saying have a nice night. So anyone sitting on her end would have thought she was being polite to a customer on the phone not realizing that on the other end was myself in mid sentence before getting hung up on! DONT GO HERE! Save your money!

This is my third visit to this salon and every time I have been I've had and excellent experience. The stylist has seen me on time, and everyone there is friendly and professional which really puts you at ease!

Junior green stylists know afro hair and through every step they're talking to you about how you can look after your style and ways to maintain healthy hair. I walked away from this salon feeling absolutely over the moon with my new cut. I would highly recommend them, they know what they're doing when it comes to curly afro hair.

Been my go to hair salon for years. Delroy has been my hair stylist for years and he is fab! I have had other stylists from time to time when he is not available. Great salon for dealing with black hair. Professional, helpful and very good at all their services.
