Canonbury Hair

This is my first visit and I loved it. Gian cut my hair and I’m so pleased with it. He knew exactly how to style it and cut it in 45mins All for a great price too! The staff are so friendly and polite and the salon is very clean and bright. This will definitely be my regular from now on. Thank you. 🥰

I've been coming to Canonbury Hair for nearly ten years, where Gian takes fantastic care of me every time. He always gives great advice, and cuts and styles with flair and attention. The salon is warm and welcoming, and the team are highly professional and friendly - their long term customers are testament to what a great salon this is!

I have been coming to this salon for nine years because they are the best. The stylists are excellent. Gian Luigi has looked after me, my husband and now my daughter and we all feel the utmost confidence as soon as we take a seat in his chair. His colouring is subtle and expert, his styling and cuts are stunning and demonstrate confidence and flair. He works so hard but is always so amicable and good natured. Frankly, we as a family wouldn't know what we'd do without him! I started coming to the salon some years ago with very dark hair and have now transitioned to silver. Gian has given the best care to my hair at both stages and has always given me a million dollar cut. I can't recommend him highly enough. The rest of the team are also wonderful and the salon has a wonderfully collegiate and calm atmosphere. They have also taken Covid in their stride and exercise great caution while making you feel welcome.

I highly recommend this hair studio and Gian is the hairstylist you need to fashion your hair as you wish! Since my first visit, I can definitely say that I am happy with my new hairstyle and never been so satisfied! The place is really nice, with friendly atmosphere and professionalism. Good location too. Undoubtedly, five stars!!!

After years of trying many different hairdressers I think I've finally found 'the one'!! Shan gave me the most beautiful half head of highlights and haircut, the best I've had in years... maybe ever. I will never go anywhere else. So happy with my hair! Thank you Shan :)

What a wonderful experience! Gian transformed my over-processed orange hair into a beautiful deep ash colour. He was meticulous about every stage of the process. My hair was softly layered to frame my face and give my hair some much needed volume and movement. The girl who washed my hair was lovely and even that was relaxing and perfect. I left the salon with a shiny blow-dry. I feel like a different person and I have enjoyed showing off my new hair this weekend. I have found my hairdresser for life!

Gian is just the best. I desperately needed a color correction and really did not like my hair when I went in, and he completely fixed it. Came out feeling so great about it. My hair is curly, and he knew exactly what to do with it. He did a consult beforehand and explained the entire process to me. Was my first time there, and will now be my go-to spot! Highly, highly recommend :)

I cannot recommend Canonbury Hair, and specifically Karen, enough! Karen has been cutting my hair for 20+ years and without fail has done an amazing job. From my first few hair cuts as a kid, to my pre-wedding haircut she has helped me to adapt my style and is brilliant at knowing what will suit my face shape/hair type. I have moved away from the area but happily travel 1h+ to come to get my hair cut & highlighted here. She is also one of the nicest people - I always enjoy our catch ups.
