I have been attending Hair by Ronald Joyce for over 20 years I am NOT a family friend but I am a loyal client to the staff and owners of this prestigious salon in the heart of wood green. I have NEVER had a bad experience or been ripped off in this salon, they are extremely professional and are experts in there field of hair dressing and offer highly competitive prices compared to other hairdressers in the area. Please support our local hairdressers who have served the community for over 27 years .Thank you hair by Ronald Joyce for your positive output to your clients and ignore the negativity .

NEVER go to this salon for colouring or any complicated styles. They messed up my hair twice and charged me for the correction. It still wasn’t good but I’ve given up and lost trust, they will not be touching my hair again. Left my hair once orange and second time yellow. First time dying my hair and they took advantage of this by not doing it properly. They take advantage of young people - if you are going always go with an adult. But I would recommend going to a proper salon who will do a better job. Act professional but cannot provide the professional service to match. Went straight to another salon who have done an amazing and professional job.

I don’t usually bother to write reviews but I’m sat here with a crying 12 year old because this salon messed up her hair so badly.

It was evident immediately from speaking to her that the girl cutting her hair did not have any knowledge of her hair type. I should have trusted my instincts and walked immediately.

She has cut her hair in an awful triangle shape which anyone with curly mixed hair knows is a big no no. She also cut it way shorter than I asked. The icing on the cake was her spraying it with hairspray that you would NEVER use on this hair type. I’ve just had to rinse her hair and do a deep conditioner and it’s still rock hard and dry. Poor thing will have no option but to wear it out until it grows out. I genuinely could have done a better job myself and I’ve never cut hair in my life.

Sorry but it’s unaceptable in this day and age where anyone with access to YouTube can educate themselves on mixed race hair types. This “stylist” should stick to washing hair until she’s actually been trained in how to cut curly mixed race hair.

If there was an option to give zero stars I would. Suffice to say we will not be returning and if you have mixed hair I would seriously give this place a miss.

This is a well established hair salon. The owners are both very skilled in their trade and are not afraid to further their knowledge by attending hair shows and seminars. I am quite a fussy person when it comes to letting people do my hair and Joyce's hair knowledge is amazing. The salon is the perfect pamper zone. And it has a wonderful not rushed atmosphere. Your made to feel welcome with the offer of drinks and a full hair discussion before you start. Under Covid19 each client is given even more individual treatment. PPE is worn, temperature checks and hand washing and sanitising available for all. I felt very safe. I had a relaxer and treatment and my hair looked amazing when I left. Is in good condition.

My first hair experience @ Ronald + Joyce Hairdressing after being recommended to me was excellent. They made me feel relaxed, atmosphere was great and I love my new hair colour. They are passionate about their craft and I will definitely be going back

My daughter and I both had our hair done at this hairdressers yesterday and we left looking absolutely stunning. The service we received was extremely professional. We will most definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family.
