Raw Hair Salon Mottingham

I made a last minute decision to get my hair done here today and I am so glad I did! Straight away I felt very welcome. Tommy is very friendly and professional and made me feel very comfortable. Decor is great and the chairs are comfortable! I especially liked the back room where I had my hair washed - what’s better than massage chairs?! As my hair was being done I was offered a drink and complimentary biscuits and we had a little general chat which is nice as I am quite shy and never feel able to do that. Tommy was gentle yet effective when styling, there was no manhandling of my head or painful detangling of my hair. Usually when I get my hair cut at other salons I come out with something different to what I have asked for but here all of my instructions were followed! This was one of my best experiences in a hair salon and I will be returning next time I need a chop! I recommend you give this place a try.

Staff are really nice and friendly. I don't go to the hairdresser's that often, because I'm lazy but I picked Raw because of its review. It definitely lives up to its reputation and I have now been there 3 times. I've had Courtney twice and the shop owner, Tommy, once. Absolutely great. You won't be disappointed.

Courtney gave me a lovely cut, really pleased. Salon had a really welcoming vibe with relaxed atmosphere. The hair washing area is a hidden gem of serenity; gorgeous space with chairs that massage all your stress away! Booked to go back for my colour in a few days. So glad I've found my new hairdressers. Very unahappy, that’s the ugliest haircut my daughter has ever had. Cut too much and looks very untidy, would be impossible to style.

Tommy & his staff are very friendly and give help and advice with your styling needs as well as colouring. The decor of the shop is modern inside and very clean. I always feel great after I’ve had my hair cut, coloured and styled there. Tommy takes the safety of his customers and staff very seriously and him and his staff wear masks whilst providing a fantastic service. I would highly recommend Raw in Mottingham.

Previously I had a very bad experience with a hairdresser. None of them got it right in the last 5 years. I thought "This is it. I am done. I'm not stepping into salons anymore." However, my hair got really out of control, so I decided to give it one more try. I researched salons in the area and with hope went to Raw Mottingham. And it was well worth it!!
Tommy made me change my mind about hairdressers and got my trust back. This was an amazing experience for me. He did exactly what I showed him in the picture. he just made my day! I highly recommend this salon to everyone who is looking for professional, clean and cosy place.

Very disappointing service. I paid a lot last month for balayage hair, but actually, only the roots have been dyed in a dark brown, not much blonde colour in the hair. Even if the young girl who have done it and the owner were trying to explain that "that was the result they could achieve with my hair", that was not explained at the beginning and also, they tried to convince me to book another appointment in a week or 2 weeks in order to have more blonde colour (probably a new strategy to have more bookings). Not nice from the owner who actually didn't care, he just tried to book another appointment. Not impressed with how they deal with a "not happy" client. I had to book another place to have finally the look I wanted. And don't try to write that I am not a client of your place because I still have the receipt.

Superb salon in every way! I first decided to go because the interior was so unusual and chic. I had a great time chatting and they were also very polite. He did a great haircut for me too. Cannot recommend highly enough!
