Disappointing & Rude!

I felt compelled to write a review after a terrible experience at the hair sanctuary...
Whilst having my appointment a new girl quite brashly spoke very badly of clients and specifically older clients, then I heard the owner having an argument on the phone with someone who wanted a refund. I have never wanted to run out of a place like this in my life! My colour that I had specifically requested and style from a photo could not have been further away from the result.

The look I got when I said the hair was not quite as I wanted it was returned with stares and attitude?!?! I paid and left! I could see there was no point to argue as I would be in the same place as the woman on the phone and another client bad mouthed!

Once a loyal follower who has now decided never to return due to a horrible hair cut and no consideration for the damage done!

I would never recommend this place! Please save yourself the grief and go somewhere a little more up market that can provide the results and service originally requested!!!

My first visit was in Feb 2018 - I wanted my hair cut short having had a longish bob for a number of years. Without any information other than "make it short and keep it longer at the front" the lovely lady who cut my hair gave me a nice style that is easy to maintain and looks good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return.

I have been coming to The Hair Sanctuary for many years and will continue to be a loyal customer. Lovely friendly atmosphere, great stylists and can't do enough to ensure you are happy with your hair on leaving. Always confident with the advice and recommendations they give me on what will suit me and what will work for my hair type. Can't recommend enough.

First I would like to say, absolutely dirty place with mess everywhere. No where to put personal belongings. Hair everywhere and they don’t even bother to clean the hair off the chairs. I had to sit on the hair that was left from before.

Went in for hair colouring, showed a picture of how I wanted to have my hair done. The end result looked absolutely nothing like what I asked for. While she was colouring my hair, she was pulling on my hair so hard and she was really hurting my head. So much of my hair fell out. I asked her to only cut off half a inch of my hair (the dead ends) but she cut off at least 5-6 inches and made my hair very short. The balayage was done so badly and looks terrible when I tie my hair up. I specifically said I don’t want my hair to be ginger, she said it wouldn’t be and reassured me as well. The end result is shocking, my whole hair looks ginger, absolutely terrible, I didn’t want my hair to look ginger. If you don’t know how to do your job you shouldn’t be playing with clients hair. I am very upset and disappointed at this salon as they have completely ruined my hair and the colour I got left with is shocking. Also ruined my top I was wearing with colour on it. Charged me so much for absolute nonsense! Please do not go here, I do not recommend this place to anyone!

Just visited the salon for the first time, what a lovely experience, friendly and very experienced loved my colour,cut and finish. Will definitely be going back again

Absolutely lovely salon staff are chatty and friendly. Charlotte donr my daughters hair 😍 it was her first ever visit to a salon and she loved it! She had a wash cut and blow dry and felt well and truly pampered. I love how they included her an her opinion in the decision making of her hair (she is 6 yrs old) we didn't even get to the car and she asked when can we go back! Prices are brilliant to.
