Charlie's Kids Cuts

My son only goes here for his hair cut and every time they do a fab job. He’s an easy customer as he just sits there but he enjoys it too with the car seats, TVs & toys they let keep them occupied. My second one will be having his first hair cut here too. The staff are very friendly & welcoming. It’s clean and it’s tidy. Definitely recommend!

If I could give Zero stars, I would. Horrendous haircut for my 7 year old and even worse customer service following me calling to complain. My son was left with a a fringe which he could have cut himself, a chunk of hair missing on the top and tufts of hair on his neck. Having been asked to confirm whether I was happy twice (the first time having to point out a huge chunk of hair that the clippers had 'missed') I agreed and paid, only to realise once I got home that the water and comb over had covered up the mess. The barber I used to fix the problem told me that it was the worst hair cut he had ever seen! Then, when calling up to voice my concerns to the management and to request a refund I was told that they don't do refunds but would have tidied it up for free! - why on earth would I want to take my son back there for that! It was intimated that it was my fault as I had checked whether it was OK! I was disgusted with the way I was spoken to and the service received and I will certainly never be returning here.

The lady that did my sons hair was wonderful she was calm reassuring and made my son feel comfortable she was very patient the set up there is brilliant I recommend this place to anyone who has a child with adhd or has trouble getting a place that will do the kids hair in a way that the child understands truly brilliant I can't thank them enough never seen a place where your child can sit in a toy car and watch kids stuff on TV well worth a try call to confirm as it can be busy again thank you for helping me out!

My 16month older had her first cut here today. She thoroughly enjoyed it, the toy car and all other distraction tools worked a great. The photo, certificate and lock of hair were a great touch. Highly recommend

My little boy had his first haircut. We were very nervous but Louise know what she was doing. Not a single tear, I'm going back again

Friendly quick and efficient, I do feel they are very overpriced though. I have got my sons hair done previously elsewhere for less than half the cost and it looked just as good. Nice staff but WAY overpriced for a child's haircut. I do understand that they will charge more as children can be hard work when it comes to hair cuts but as my little boy is very well behaved ill carry on saving my money elsewhere.

I don’t often post reviews but I saw Dean’s review below and wondered if he went to the same Charlie’s Kids Cuts that I have been taking my son to for the past 10 years?
3 minutes to cut a child’s hair??......this either shows real skill, in which case Dean should be extremely impressed, or maybe Dean is exaggerating!!!
The staff are always interactive with the kids and parents, and always helpful and professional.
I took my son for this first hair cut at 8 months old (at their old salon) and have followed them to their new salon. I travel from Liverpool every 4 weeks to use this hairdressers. Kathryn, Louise and the girls are the most friendliest and attentive crew who specialise in children’s hair cuts, which may I say is not an easy job! Over the past 10 years I have witnessed them deal with frightened children who don’t like getting their hair cut and also children who were unruly, quite frankly they have the patience of a saint.
I wanted to post this review because Dean’s ‘experience’ was not a true reflection of this salon. You can take your kids and they will have a great experience and get a fab haircut. Everything in this salon caters for children even the chairs that they sit in are model cars, which is great fun. I wish they had salons like this when I was a kid, it would have saved my parents from witnessing some tantrums! My son who is almost 11yrs usually plays with the Xbox (pre Covid) while he gets his haircut and the little ones can watch their favourite programmes on the individual TVs to distract them, what more can you ask for? And by the way they take longer than 3 minutes to cut hair! Although I wish they could do it in 3 minutes, I’m sure that would please a lot of parents. Im giving them 5 ⭐️, they’ve never let me down.
