I felt at ease explaining what I wanted for my hair now & for the future. I felt seen & heard by the staff & have gone on to have 2 incredible treatments at the salon.

The first was a Brazilian conditioning treatment which helped my long, but super dry hair, along with a trim. The trim alone has helped my hair to look healthier.

The second was a full head of highlights. And I’d like to emphasise that both time and care were taken to offer professional advice, but my ideas and concerns were also listened to. I felt supported, able to speak my mind and trusted that I was in good hands. The result made this new Mama feel like herself again! I’ve already made my next appointment! Very happy customer 😃

So after many years of keeping my hair roughly the same length and colour, I decided to embrace what mother nature was giving me. My grey/silver/white hair, so I started my journey last September; it was a very long day. My stylist Chiara talked me through the process and the rest of the team, made sure I plenty of tea and sweet treats too. When I saw the finished result I couldn't believe it was me in the mirror. The colour palette Chiara used was amazing, she explained how moving forward she would use less and less. Until it was all me. So we are now a year on, in the middle of a pandemic, and are way of working and living has changed. So yesterday 9th September I went to Academy Salon Hersham for the first since January. The first short haircut in decades wasn't sure how brave I could be, but once again Chiara talked me through the process, I'm thrilled with the results it's a fun and on trend style that works so well, with my now almost all natural hair colour. The staff were welcoming as always, all wearing PPE, the salon clean and tidy as always too. Will see you all soon x

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Academy hair salon in Hersham and the whole experience was most enjoyable. SJ (Sarah-Jane), an exceptional colourist of many years standing, used a new thermal treatment on my hair which was amazing. It was so light when applied and also took less time to ‘take’ which was a bonus. I was delighted with the result and would highly recommend both this procedure and SJ’s expert knowledge of colouring hair. Zoe’s excellent and professional blow dry completed a very enjoyable visit. I have used Academy (Hersham) for the first time recently and am so happy I found this salon. The team are lovely and very welcoming. I felt pampered throughout, Lilly is very professional and gives the best hair wash and massage. I had my hair restyled and coloured by Chiara, this was the first time I have had my hair coloured, I was nervous before but she made the process so easy and enjoyable, she is so knowledgeable and I am glad to have found her as my hairdresser! I am so happy with my hair and feel much more confident. Can't wait to go back!

Sarah Jane's introduction of thermal hair colouring is brilliant. Colour is warm when applied it reduced the heavy sticky, cold feeling but more importantly it reduced irritation substantially. Highly reccomend this service. Better more comfortable colour experience. Julie cut and styled my hair and I left with light, glossy, perfectly styled hair. This was my first visit to Academy hair, the salon was clean, comfortable even the wash stations, no painful neck ache, organised, running to time and staff were attentive and professional. Would highly reccomend this salon.
