Lovely friendly woman. Thorough and attentive. Pays attention to ears, eyebrows, sideburns and leaves an excellent straight edge at the rear. Great value for money. HIghly recommended.

Cut hair for wedding did 3 of the family and everyone was happy thanks

The lady who owns The Norwood Barber shop was unbelievably respectful, and will give you the cut, etc, that you ask for.
I suffer from serious anxiety issues in everyday life, but when it comes to cutting my hair, my anxiety levels crank up and crash through the roof, and I was having a near panic attack before going into The Norwood Barber shop.
When I walked in, I met a lovely lady from China (who has run the business for 7 years), but I still didn't know what to think...
... Anxiety ramped up to eleventy-thirteen-eighty-splurge, and my hands were shaking so much.
As soon as I walked in, the welcome and smile were a pleasure to behold, and this sweet lady got about asking me what cut I wanted, but I didn't have a clue.
I explained my hopes, and with using the model pictures (obviously not me) that she had to hand, I explained to her what I wanted, but it wasn't anything that was pictured, so I wasn't left with the best of hopes to begin with, and I have a massive phobia about mirrors and reflections, which is always a bad sign pre-cut.
But, (I wish I knew her name) the proprietor listened to EVERYTHING I asked for, she took note of my detailed request, she took the time to ask me during the 'cut' how I felt, and she even turned the chair away from the mirrors so I could look outside instead of this face.
The result?
It has taken a WHOLE YEAR for me to pluck up the courage to have a haircut after Short Back and Sides (next to the Christian Bookshop) closed, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience and result.
