Upper Cut

I have changed so many hairdressers over the past couple of years and wasn't happy with any of them really so decided to try Upper Cut. Having read the reviews on Google I was hoping for the best. I was offered a place on a Saturday without an appointment which was very convenient. The lady cutting my hair listened carefully to everything I said and cut my hair exactly like I wanted not like the other places I've been to who pretend to listen and did their on thing. She was very friendly helpful and smiling. Another happy customer.

I went to uppercut after I had had a bad experience with another salon. All I wanted was for a root touch up 🙈 my hair is blonde and my roots brown. I didn’t think it would be such an issue? The first salon decided to only use 10 volume to lighten so it barely did anything then uppercut used 20 volume which was still not high enough turning my roots orange which they should have known being professionals. Anyway after spending nearly £200 I have been left with patchy orange roots as the toner they used washed out after only one wash. I desperately attempted to tone down the orange myself with blue shampoo as I was not prepared to part with even more money and now I have bright orange roots and green ends 🤦‍♀️ Uppercut might be a good salon for hair cutting but for root touch ups it’s a joke. What should have been something easy has turned into a completely stressful and expensive nightmare.

I’ve been having my hair done by the girls at Uppercut for the best part of 20 years. In all that time I’ve only ever been to one other salon and left in tears. Uppercut is my go to salon and they always do an amazing job with my hair! I’ve had everything from highlights to fill on bleach and crazy colours!

They’re also amazing when it comes to cutting kids hair! My youngest has severe autism and they’re so patient with him.

I’d never go to any other salon!!

I treat my girlfriend to her hair, every couple of months, she likes to change the colour up and the girls smash it every time, there magicians! thanks girls for all you do, happy wife, happy life 😃

Always go and get my haircut every 4 weeks and never had an issue- pricing very reasonable- girls very chatty- Jade always knows what I like with regards to how short I like my hair! Only thing I would like would be free Wi-Fi

This is the best hairdressers that I have used, I travelled an hour and half from Bognor to go to Uppercut and I will definitely coming back! I had a colour correction done after some terrible highlights done in another salon. Uppercut were professional and Jade was lovely! I would recommend Uppercut to anyone! Great place, even better staff!

I've been going here for years now and both Jade and Hayley work absolute wonders with my hair everytime! I never trust anyone else to cut, dye or style it! And I've always gone for odd cuts and wild colours! At present I have a gorgeous purple red ombre root to a stunning burnt orange. Hayley did absolutely perfect! The environment is always lovely and they make you feel comfortable with everything they do - which I really appreciate as someone with really bad anxiety! They're absolutely amazing and would recommend them highly to anyone!

I took my lovely Mum for a cut, wash & blowdry today. She has dementia and all the staff are very kind & supportive. Mum was always very particular about her appearance and she really loved her trim today. Thank you Team Upper Cuts. As a carer it is good to witness your kindness.
