A Salon Called Fish

I've been going to Fish for nearly 11 years now, and they can't be faulted. Yes there are cheaper salons in Ivybridge but the service and quality at Fish are second to none, and I'm more than happy to pay a bit extra for that. Over the years Row has done colours for me, restyled me several times, done hair-ups for events; I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Lovely stylists. All very helpful even last minute. Plenty of beauty treatments available & right in the village high street.

Staff are always friendly and polite, I get a great haircut in a relaxed environment. Would highly recommend.

I recently moved to Ivybridge and initially contacted A Salon called Fish to ask for advice about my hair, I hadn’t had it coloured for about a year and was a bit worried about damaging it etc they invited me in for a consultation with Yasmin and instantly I knew I had gone to the right place. Yasmin took onboard everything I was saying, everything I wanted and everything I was worried about. She was so knowledgeable and talented and knew exactly what she could do to achieve the look I wanted but without causing too much damage to my hair.

I went back two weeks later to have my hair coloured… what an experience! I’ve never felt so comfortable in a big salon before. Everyone was so kind and friendly. The atmosphere was amazing and all the staff went out of their way to make their clients feel comfortable.

As for Yasmin, well she was AMAZING and is clearly extremely talented. She spent hours with me to ensure I got the look I was after and explained all the steps with me so I knew what she was doing which I found really reassuring. It’s true what they say “time flies when you are having fun”, I think I was there about about 5.5hours but I was never bored. She even helped me choose some new makeup! It didn’t feel like this was the first time I had had my hair done by her.

And as for my hair the pictures speak for themselves! I just love it. The colour is lush, it’s not damaged and it was cut just enough to freshen it up but still keeping some of the length.

Ladies (or gents) if you are looking for a new salon in Ivybridge this is where to go! Can’t wait to go back for another appointment.

Friendly greeting, offer of drinks, massaging chair while having hair washed. Lively experience
