I rate The Velvet Rooms very highly indeed. Leanne is an absolute joy - superb at her job, friendly and professional. The cut is always great. And she gave me excellent advice on how best to grow into my natural hair colour. The team are lovely and the atmosphere is welcoming. I always feel better after a visit and look forward to my next appointment. Highly recommend.

I’m a long standing client of Velvet Rooms and I wouldn’t consider anywhere else. This is the first time I have had my hair done with Grace. I was not disappointed, such a lovely girl who did an amazing job on my hair. The colour and the cut is superb , I absolutely love it and it’s nothing less than I would hope to receive at this fabulous salon. Will definitely book in with Grace again.

First time for me at Velvet Rooms and I will definitely be back! Mollie was excellent, did a great job with my cut and talked me through my options for colour. All staff just lovely. Great value and a really nice ambience too. Thoroughly recommend.

Amber is amazing. She is a fantastic colourist and stylist and I won’t let anyone else do my hair. She has an incredible talent and is also so friendly. She takes her time and never rushes. My hair always looks a million dollars and I get loads of compliments.

As always, greeted with the friendliest staff. Amazing colour, cut and finish. Great chat and made to feel pampered. Never left disappointed and I’ve been going for nearly 9 years. Left the salon feeling a million dollars! Thanks to all at Velevet Rooms.

Once again Amber came up tops with a last minute request to completely change my hair! She manages my expectations well but also always make my hair look and feel amazing. Really happy I found her!

I love The Velvet Rooms - I’ve used them for the past 2 years, and the service is impeccable. The salon is beautifully kept, the music, drinks, attention to detail, is perfection. Grace is the best stylist I’ve ever had, she is so personable and friendly and we always have a good natter whilst she does her magic to my hair. I always feel a combination of relaxed and energised when I leave the salon.

Hair colour/cut disaster. Unhelpful and unreasonable, would not negotiate or entertain a part refund and my Daughter did not want the person to touch her hair again (which was offered).as was anxious and embarrassed to return . Be careful when you sign the pre-hair colour waiver!! £167 wasted and lost. Corrected by a professional hairdresser who was speechless by the colour, cut and condition it was left in.Was meant to be blonde ombre from black.. result in pictures
