The ladies at this salon are always friendly and provide a full range of salon treatments - anything from a simple dry trim, to a full-blown group wedding booking. The salon is there for kids and adults, young folk and the elderly, ladies and men.

They keep a record of colour dyes used for each customer so I have complete faith that my time there is in good hands each time I go, despite potentially having a different stylist on each occasion - I don't mind because they are all good.

The salon also takes on apprentices from local schools and I've seen a number of girls arrive over the years and take up working there on a self-employed basis at the end of their training.

They also offer beauty treatments upstairs at very reasonable rates - very often a manicure can be squeezed in while your hair-dye is setting (along with a cup of tea too!)....well, why not make use of that time!

This is a wonderful local salon, supporting a brilliant creative team of stylists. Make an appointment with any of the ladies there and you are assured first-class treatment every time.

BTW - the comment on this page regarding Liz is unfair. Liz has done my hair many times and I have been thrilled with the result every time.

I've been going to this hairdressers for a couple years now and I always receive a great cut/treatment. Really friendly staff and often a complementary cup of tea. Liz and the other hairdressers always listen to what I have asked for and I have never come away disappointed.

Brilliant hairdressers. Been going for over 30 years. Staff friendly, excellent hairdressers and cannot do enough for you. Great with my elderly mother who has dementia. Newly refurbished, bright and airy salon.
