However by far the worst hair cut I have ever had, my hair was brushed behind my back and cut in a straight line... Not sure if this is some new method of cutting but its horrendous. I kindly asked if this was it and the hair dresser said yes...I asked if she was going to section/part it and cut in more and she said no. I was very confused, I asked for a loose curly blow dry but I was told it needs to be blow dried straight to see the cut and to fix it if it needed more cutting.
I kept saying I don't want a straight line but thats what I got... I usually would not leave a bad review but for the price it was the worst decision ever to try somewhere new. Very disappointed, as i expected more from the price paid.
- The haircut itself as you can see in the pictures attached - shocking!
- An additional £10 was charged apparently for a restyle with a stylist when on their website there's no charge mentioned for a stylist. She couldn't have been an advanced stylist because she would've quoted my daughter £48 not £40 (which btw on the website is £42?!?) plus she clearly lacks the skill and experience even for a stylist
- Discrepancies in the price quoted, final bill and the website's price list, resulting in my daughter ending up paying the initial amount asked of £40 with an apparent final bill before discount of £57!!! £57 for a simple short haircut!?!
- No one in that salon had my daughter's best interest at heart
- The way my complaint was dealt with in store and over the phone with the salon manager claiming she cannot see if the haircut is good or bad with my daughter standing in front of her when you can see it from a plane! And also telling me she cannot deal with me right now because she's with a client
Also just remembered she had some issues with the payment the first time around when she went for a trim with the same stylist, bad trim then too, but the hair was long and wasn't as noticeable. That time around they've booked her a day before the day my daughter told them to, probably by mistake, but when she didn't turn up for her appointment thinking is the next day they've called her and rescheduled at a later time that day and the haircut went past 5pm when the student discount is no longer applied according to their website. No one has made my daughter aware that this is going to be the case, knowing she will want to use her student discount, this again is a red flag!
