Tony has been cutting my families hair for over 10 years.
And I'm fussy!
We have followed him from Cirencester to Stroud and would go up to London, if he moved back there, He's that good.
He had his training in London and it really is like having a true professional take control.
His second in command is Charlie and she has never cut my hair but does a mean blow dry.
They make very good coffees too!

Needed a quick haircut as I was heading away on holidays the next day and this hairdresser had good reviews and availability for the day. When I arrived at the salon I have been waiting till agreed appointment time but after seeing displeased look of a gentleman who was having a haircut before me I should have walked away then. Not being able to get appointment elsewhere I have decided to give it a go. Unfortunately I didn’t get a very good feeling from the gentleman cutting my hair, he made me feel like he had no other choice to say hello and goodbye to me at the end of the cut, he didn’t offer refreshment or neither didn’t try to make any conversation and barely smiled beside that I asked for a wet cut but in this gentlemen’s opionion wet cut won’t be followed by a quick dry off so he showed me the end effect of the cut on my wet hair and he was ready to send me off without drying it off. As far as I remember no other salon would let their client walk out with wet hair. When I asked him if he could quickly dry it he said that I can do it myself. I rushed home to the mirror to see if my hair was cut straight as it felt like he was taking big chunks off from the ends. Very displeasing and disappointing and overpriced at £30

Walked into Joseph's because I loved the look and vibe from the salon and Joseph. I have curly hair so it's difficult to get a good haircut. Joseph did a wonderful job and I have been back again for colouring and another haircut. The men in my family have also been for haircuts and he has given them the best haircut in Stroud.

A good hairstylist- and one who doesn't ask you if you've "got anything nice planned for the weekend". What a treat!

Very professional beautiful cut.

Tony has been doing my hair since 2007. I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. He is so entertaining. I was sick of talking about "my next holiday plans" with every other hairdresser. He keeps me laughing all the way through even if it's a curl and a colouring. He does exactly what I ask for even if it's challenging, and he also has a good eye and creative taste so he can advise and often knows what's best. I like that he always provides refreshments and little treats to keep you going, he plays great music and all his clients seem to be the coolest people in Stroud.

Tony has looked after my hair for a few years now. Have been away from the Shire during lockdown. Drove 152 miles round-trip to have him sort me out. Love him to bits.
