Saks Hair & Beauty Addlestone

Visited here for the first time today and my first haircut since losing from chemo and growing back. John cut my hair for me and was so understanding and did a fantastic job. Exactly what I wanted and came out of there absolutely thrilled with the results. Definitely made a loyal customer out of me now and I’ll be recommending them to all I know. Thanks!

Excellent salon very warm welcoming and I am overall impressed with my haircut great cut not rushed at all. Lovely service throughout . And whilst I appreciate all stylists are good I must say Andy my stylist on the day was my kind of person ; friendly informative down to earth and had the most infectious smile ; i felt comfortable . A genuine guy overall. Thankyou

I used Saks for the second time last week and was again impressed with the attention to hygiene and how well they follow govt guidelines. The salon feels clean and modern and very professional.
I love the highlights Alison gave me and the time she took to go through the colours with me. I also love the cut Nick did - his cut and care are part of the reason I returned. Highly recommended for a good, safe and professional hairdressing experience.

Unfortunately my experience there was horrendous.
When I go to the hairdresser I assume they are professionals... I was so wrong. The worst for me was that the person who did my hair was totally incompetent. It's actually cruel to allow an incompetent person ruining the hair of people...
I had asked for a simple haircut with a fringe and a hair colour with highlights...
Went back there the following day for them to correct the carnage but it was beyond repair. Stayed the full day...
Few days later, I went to another hairdresser in Weybridge to fix the colour and the hair cut, they were shocked there. One hairdresser actually cut my hair immediately to correct what he could - FOR FREE! I did not have to ask.
I was advised a pixie cut would "fix" my hair, otherwise, lots of patience ... It will take time before I can forget my negative experience with Saks, Addlestone.
I would have preferred writing a positive review...

Really disappointing experience, with highlights that ended up stripey and the opposite of what I wanted. Terrible customer service when I brought it to their attention, being made to feel like it was my fault. The only suggestion to make up for it was for the same colourist to apply a toner, with zero empathy for why I wouldn't trust using her again! The attitude and customer service means I won't be using them again.

I did not feel I had enough highlights put in. When I explained I wasn’t happy, my hairdresser said “I don’t do the brassy look, if yellow is what you want, maybe you should stand in a room full of smokers.”
Another hairdresser offered more highlights. I will never return.
