I went in on spec after effectively destroying my hair with a home bleach kit. The stylists were courteous and reassuring, and went through the options I had to try and save it. I got an appointment the same day, and my stylist Ben was fantastic--really attentive, professional and patient. I had multiple treatments on my hair to improve the condition, plus a cut to get rid of a lot of the worst of the damage. I entered feeling distraught, and left feeling total relief. This shop basically saved my hair and gave me back my curls. Thank you!!

I've been coming to the hair shop for 25yrs and wouldn't go anywhere else. My husband and 3 children also have their hair cuts here and the staff always do a top job. Friendly, knowledgeable and super lovely. Also caring for the environment by using Aveeda products - no need to go anywhere else!

Only used the place twice before for a trim and blow dry and it was fine but the third time I went it was a nightmare. As soon as I walked in I didn’t feel welcome, the hairdresser told me they had a party later and if they finish the hair appointments quicker they’d be able to leave for the party sooner… bit unprofessional and not what you want to hear as a client as you’d want them not to rush in case any mistakes are made which there was as I asked for a blow dry but when I left I realised it was all wet at the back! Also (I don’t expect it but it does make you feel more comfortable) I wasn’t offered a drink not even water. When they washed my hair it felt very rushed, he was very rough on my scalp it was almost painful! Not only that, they had raised the prices without telling me and it had only been a few months since I’d last been and it had gone from about £35 to £42 I think, which they only told me after the haircut! I’m very anxious in social situations so I didn’t say anything and just wanted to leave as quickly as possible (in hindsight I wish I’d questioned the price and checked my hair properly before getting up). Really don’t recommend this place, it doesn’t feel like they care about what they do.

A lovely experience, my hairdresser is the lovely Jenny Cammock. Very friendly atmosphere. Good cup of coffee. Overall good.

Very disappointed given a price on consultation of £85.00.
On making payment was informed it was £105.00 when questioned about price change was informed that it was for cut and blow dry.. absolutely horrified I will never use this hairdresser again...

Dave, his partners and staff are such an experience. If you've never used the Hairshop book an appointment now. They are the most friendly, accommodating and professional people you will ever meet. Give them a try, I guarantee you won't regret it.

Lovely to be back, Jo made me feel human again. The salon and team have worked hard at implementing safety measures in line with current pandemic. It felt safe, well organised and as always welcoming. Highly recommend 👌
