Parallel Lines

I visited Parallel Lines hair salon in Oxford and it was a brilliant experience to say the least. The staff were very friendly and put me at ease straight away. They did the best cut I have ever had and the prices are very competitive. I would certainly recommend the Parallel Lines salon to anyone. I have already recommended it to all my friends and family and I also plan to have my hair done there every month.

I always get a first-class haircut at Parallel Lines. I'm pretty fussy about my hair, but they always do a tip-top job of my regular haircut - short on the sides and messy on top. Friendly staff too.

Really affordable and quality beauty treatments. Such lovely staff. Relaxing atmosphere. They gave me a lovely cup of tea in a cute cup & saucer. They stayed open late so they could fit me in. Enjoyable experience.

Only problem was they were running late so had to wait 20 mins, and parking may be a problem for some people.

Great cut & blow at a great price. Hairdresser really took his time to make sure the cut was perfect and exactly what I asked for. Not chatty, which suits me and made it more relaxing. Easy to book via email. Thanks!

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt I really needed to make an exception this time. I definitely recommend this place. The foreign-seeming guy who cut my hair did a very meticulous work. You could see that he was paying a lot of attention to details and I think he possesses some real mastery in his scissor-wielding skills, though I'm not an expert on this one. I think all in all he must have spent at least 40-50 minutes on me and I never felt that I was just another £20-for-half-an-hour client - a feeling I've had at other barbers in the UK. Speaking of prices, it is very much affordable (I paid £12).

The hairdresser Peter ensured he combed my fringe perfectly straight before even beginning to cut. I could tell he wanted to ensure everything was perfect. Excellent value for £12. NB This barbers doesn't do beards.

Hairdresser completely ignored what I asked for and cut my hair too short. Then he tried to overcharge me.
He didn't take my coat nor did he offer me a cup of coffee. The floor was still covered in hair from previous client. I could have overlooked these issues if the cut had been good but as it wasn't, I'm never going there again.

The owner Emma is communicative and easy to book an opponent. The hairdresser in Oxford Peter is skilful and did what I wanted. He is very attentive. Would recommend.
