Matthew Clulee Hair Spa

Another great visit to the Matthew Clulee salon today. Matthew has been cutting my hair for the past 15+ years and has always done an amazing job. The colourists are knowledgeable and take great care to make sure they create the right look for you. I have lots of curly hair and Matthew knows exactly how to cut and style it to make it looks it’s best. The team are very welcoming and the salon is clean and comfortable. I love that they take using sustainable products seriously and now offer a refill service for their shampoos and conditioners. Looking forward to the next visit!

I have been going to Matthew to cut my hair for years and he is an excellent hairdresser, the best in Oxford. He is very professional and in addition a nice person. The atmosphere in the salon is very pleasant - calm and relaxing.

My 10 year old daughter had a significant amount of hair cut off by the amazing Fatima - the whole salon treated her like every other paying customer giving her the full salon experience, attention and time which is lovely as you do not always experience that with childrens cuts in some salons. Fatima was fantastic so caring and attentive throughout . The cut it beautiful and came home with one happy and confident young lady.

I was anxious to get my hair cut first time in the UK. But the staff were very patient and kindly gave me advice. Most importantly, James, the director, had cut my hair exactly in the way I wanted! It was a nice experience. Would definitely come to Matthew again.

My regular visit to Matthew Clulee. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Oxford. The personalised service from Matthew alongside his great team, mean I always walk out feeling a million dollars. I often find myself sneaking a look at my reflection of shop windows as I pass on my way home. Highly recommended.

Usually my experience at Matthew Clulee is great and the people are lovely but this time I had a lot of problems. To top it off the highlights I had done have virtually faded away which is disappointing. I’m an NHS worker and I traded some of my annual leave into money to pay for my hair so can’t have them re-done. I don’t like to leave negative feedback but so much happened I wanted to raise it.
