The Cutting Bar

AVOID. My girlfriend recently had her hair butchered at this hair dressers, resulting in her having to go to a second hair dressers in order to repair it. Her hair was comically different lengths, with 'layers' hacked into it. The second hair dresser couldn't believe that it had been cut by a so called professional.

Everyone seems very friendly, my hair was cut a little bit shorter than I wanted. But it will grow back. I'll go back again but be more explanatory in what I want. 😁

Delightful independent cafe. Enjoyed the vegan sausage sandwich and comforting cafe latte made with oat milk. I'm not a vegan but didn't feel I was 'missing out' on anything. Friendly, helpful staff. The ordering 'system' could have been articated more clearly when I entered and was shown to a seat

Very popular, go when it's raining to dodge the queue. No appointments, just rock up, sit down and enjoy the English anxiety trying to remember who came in first! My haircut (no wash or blow dry) was £22.50. Facemasks required. Everyone who works here is fab, good with kids too and because they are open to all genders they are good at short as well as long hair.

Been coming here for years, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Thank you to Monika for a great cut on Wednesday,very happy with it as usual. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely the worst haircut I've ever had. I won't even go back to get it fixed because I dread to think how much worse they could make it. It's absolutely horrific! Totally uneven, hacked ('stylist' ripped the hair she pulled taut with open scissors to create what was meant to be layers) and rushed because she had two other people waiting. Avoid!!

If in doubt read the rest of the reviews! I wonder if it's the same stylist butchering everyone's hair?
