Very professional and friendly hair dressers. The staff are pleasant and experienced and include you in their daily conversations. I always feel prettier after having my foils and a trim, and my hair is looking the best it has done in several years.

I made an appointment for full head highlights for 5th April - appointment was approximately made beginning of March. I was supposedly told to call for a Patch Test - which was probably correct but my head is a shed at times due to personal reasons.

The day of my appointment I called to confirm the time and I was sharply advised I can not have my hair highlighted as not been for a patch test. I jokingly stated "oh don't worry I've been having my hair highlighted for 40 years it will be fine " - the person on the phone stated again sharply no it is company policy, it can not be done. At this point the person did not apologise or show any remorse for my situation.

You can imagine how I was feeling - I have my daughters 18th birthday party at the weekend, I have taken a day off work and I have at least 2 " of growth. I called into the salon to express my disappointment 😒

I asked why you didnt send me a text a few days before for a gentle reminder to call for my patch test. Why wasn't it stipulated at time of making the appointment that if you dont have a patch test we can not do your hair - the answer oh not our policy! I think your policy needs to be changed - I have been so looking forward to having my hair done at this salon - heard so many good reports but unfortunately i didn't get the opportunity.

I was also advised that it is LAW that I must have a patch test - but i was happy to sign an imdementy form not to take further if i did have a reaction- but again shut down!!! Plus it is incorrect it is not Law - get your facts right please.

What do you think the chances of me getting my hair highlighted at such short notice before the party? Yes ZILCH!!!

Been going to Cut Above for about 30 years. Staff are always great, friendly and professional. Good and honest with advice, today had a complete change of hair colour and have received numerous compliments whilst out this evening. Thanks girls.

I've been going to a Cut Above for a while now and the girls are all so lovely and very good hairdresser's. I would highly recommend this salon. Thankyou girls

Absolutely lovely staff. Chloe did my hair today and everyone there was so friendly and chatty. Absolutely would recommend and will be going there from now on. The prices are great and overall very much worth my while :)
