This was my 3rd visit to the salon, Sam is a very talented man. I’ve always struggled with my hair and used to be a straight back and sides barber shop guy. Sam was recommended to me and I haven’t been disappointed. New style, excellent salon, made to feel

I had a cut and blow-dry here, the lady that did my hair was great, really chatty, I usually feel really uncomfortable in hair salons but I didn't. I didn't really get much of a consultation, after she blow-dried she just went straight in with the cut without asking how much I wanted off, she asked how the length was and I asked for more to be taken off.
I went in because my hair was damaged and it needed cutting off, she didn't take anything off the layers and didn't offer to thin it.(I have very thick hair) I didn't speak up because I didn't realise she was finished until she offered hairspray. The actual cut took about 5 minutes if that, the blow dry was really good and the lady was lovely but I just feel like it was a waste of money.

Went in for a quick hair trim on a busy Friday lunch time after sending a FB message and getting a swift response with availability and information. The young lady at reception was lovely and gave me a relaxing massage whilst washing my hair! Molly my allocated stylist was lovely, listened to what I wanted and gave me a nice trim!

The only downside was the waiting time as my appointment was delayed by 15' plus which is quite stressful when you are on the clock.

Also be mindful that they have no card machine so bring your cash with you in advance to avoid the trip to the nearest bank (which is to be fair across the salon).

Will I be going back? Yes I will :)

Harriet was very friendly and did a fantastic job with my hair, this is the first time I have been for a haircut in a while because I didn't have a great experience with my previous salon. But would strongly recommend and will definitely return!

Had my hair cut and coloured by Sam. Very professional and friendly service. Sam knew exactly what colours would suit me and the cut is fantastic. My hair has never looked so healthy. I would highly recommend.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I just get annoyed when I look at my hair now. I had an appointment and was sat in the chair for 10-15 mins waiting for the girl to show up, only to be told by the owner that she couldn’t come in (no fault of her own) but communication was poor to have me sat there for that long before telling me I’d have to come back another day. He also said I could have a discount for the trouble. I came back the next day. Had long hair and said I wanted it cut to about nip length. Didn’t realise my nips were that high as I now have a slightly long bob-cut. Which wouldn’t have been so bad if the layers were cut nicer. Usually it takes a few weeks after a hair cut for it to grow out a bit and look nicer.. this is doing the opposite. The ends look choppy and dead and I barely use heat on them. and isn’t growing out nicely at all. Also he didn’t stand by his offer of a discount for making me come back and still charged me full price, with no apology for the previous day. Miss this being Salon 2 where the girls were more professional and the haircuts were decent.

I honestly had the best experience at Samuel’s hairdressers the day I went.
My colour was so vibrant and exactly what I wanted..!
From start to finished I was looked after with a coffee, cake and biscuits.
Sam’s super professional and we had a great conversation the whole time I was in his presence.
The end style of my hair and condition I couldn’t be happier
Can’t wait for my next appointment with him.
