TH1 Hairdressers

Went in to donate my hair (which was lucky as they are partnered with the Little Princess Trust who I was donating to) and was so glad I did. Staff are lovely, and my stylist did a fantastic job with what was left of my hair post-donation. Well worth the money!

They treat us like royalty. Fantastic service. My baby girl gets her hair done there by Anna a lovely girl who has so much fun cutting my daughters hair, I also get a trim. Well worth it

I've used TH1 for the past few years and in the last year I have been going to see Liz to get my hair cut. She's fantastic, really warm and friendly, I feel well looked after whilst I'm there and she has done a great job of cutting my hair and styling it beautifully, I wouldn't use anyone else now! :)

I have been going to TH1 for many years and always look forward to my appointments. The salon is very friendly and welcoming. The help and advice is exceptional and the staff highly professional. Dawn is a superb stylist and I always feel fabulous when I walk out the door.

Had my pixie undercut by Liz, fantastic stylist. Knew what she was doing and very professional, am delighted with my new hair. Very impressed and will be back again.

(2nd part of review) I even asked her could she make sure of this and with her response I already knew she was getting annoyed with how much I was checking in with her.

After washing my colour out, Leanne could not for the life of hair blow dry my hair. She kept asking me how I want it and I told her 3 times I wanted a bouncy blow. She kept dropping the hair dryer. She could not blow dry my hair, I've never on my life came across a hairdresser, who could not blow dry hair. In the end I told her to stop as she clearly couldn't manage. She asked me what do I think of the colour and I told her I hated it. It was platinum blond my whole head. She got Dawn over, who straight away was obnoxious and told me I had asked for blonde. She was condescending and dismissive. She told me I could come back to get it fixed. I cried on my way home.

I went back a few days later and Liz saw my hair and told me it was very blonde. She told me she would put a 5 demi colour on my blonde and part some out with a dark blonde toner. I queried numerous times isn't a 5 too dark she told me no it would wash to my natural colour (it never it stayed black for months I'm naturally a light brown). Liz even took photos of my hair when she kept finding really bad parts of how it had been done by Leanne to show Dawn.

When she was finished I said its quite dark and she promised me it would fade. I was just relieved the blonde had gone. She took me to the till and tried to charge me over £200. I was shocked and said I'm not paying for a correction with hair I still didn't get what I wanted. Dawn came over and she was the most rude heinous individual I've ever encountered. She told me I wouldn't be leaving until I paid for something and they had quote "bent over backwards for you". Her attitude was disgusting. She then opened the salon door and said to me leave. I felt the need to tell Liz thanks for her efforts with my hair. However at this point I never knew she actually made my hair worse. A lot worse.

I waited 2 months for the colour to fade. Nothing. So I had to go to another salon for another colour correction. They couldn't believe Liz used a 5 demi on my hair. And they had to bleach all of it up, which would leave me with warm hair, the exact thing I wanted to fix.

From TH1 hairdressers, they ruined my hair and all the hard work I'd invested into putting no heat or chemicals or dye on my hair for 2 years. I now have over treated, dry, warm, brittle hair. I'm strongly contemplating cutting it all off. They have caused me a HUGE amount of distress. They charge far too much for under qualified staff. Its ran by a obnoxious owner with zero customer service skills. I've spent tonnes of money trying to fix the damage. If I could go back I'd of never put my trust and faith in them.

Lastly, Liz contacted me on FB in the early hours at 12:30am on the 20/11/2020 and then unsent the message with no explanation which I found inappropriate. (Prior to this she originally found me on fb and contacted me to book me in a second time to correct my hair). I'd take a guess she'd had a few to drink that night and was unhappy I never paid her and took umbrage to it.

Do not go to this hairdressers.

Had such a great experience here. Dawn was amazing. A true professional and knew exactly what she was doing. Explained everything and took the time to understand my hair type and what I wanted
