Love this hairdresser, no nonsense, great prices, staff are really friendly and they do olaplex which is the best product to put on your hair, it rescues the most damaged hair ever, leaving it thick, glossy and perfect condition. I won't go anywhere else.

I have been a regular customer at New Image for 15 years and have received first class treatment every single time. When I had breast cancer, Desiree opened the salon extra early one morning. I asked her to shave my head as I was going through chemotherapy. She did this for me, in private, for free, with only my personal well-being and happiness in mind.She supported me through total hair loss and re-growth suggesting styles to help me feel so much better as I went through my treatment. All the staff at New Image are the kindest and most considerate employees I have ever met. They are experienced and dedicated professionals, cutting, styling, highlighting and treating hair for the benefit of the customer. I have always been extremely happy to take their advice and even happier with the results. The staff should be treated with respect in the salon and online. They give the most professional advice to each customer based on the condition/colour/quality of the hair to ensure the very best outcome. They provide excellent customer service and have a tremendous amount of pride in their work. Desiree and her team should be applauded every day of the week for their stylish and creative hairdressing. Many congratulations to the whole team.

I have had my hair done at New Image for 10years (I tried other salons prior to this but was unhappy). I also had all my bridal hair done there and my bridal party. Always a professional friendly service especially by Desiree. I also took my mum who suffers with her nerves and she was treated so well and put at ease. My mother in law and sister in law always go there too. I love their recent modern refurb. I never have any trouble parking and prices are good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend New Image.

No where I trust more with my hair than here! Hands down the most amazing hairdressers I’ve been too! Desiree is by far the best hair dresser and I would never go anywhere else apart from to her now, having bad experience with different hair salons made me anxious but she made it easy now I enjoy going to have my hair done. I am also writing this on behalf of my mum who hasn’t got the best hair because of medical issues and Desiree made her feel and look amazing.

Still unsure about this place.

Went there once last week for the first time. I waited at the desk and when a woman came over I told her I was new and was here for an appointment at X time with X person, she just stared at me like an idiot.

There was no "Hello" or "Thanks, have a seat and X will be there shortly".

"Should I sit down there?" I asked (I had never been here before!". Still no answer, She just continued staring like I was an idiot. So I sat down on the sofa, another woman came over and said she would wash my hair while the hairdresser finished another woman's hair. Didn't talk to me the entire time and then shuffled me off to sit in a chair.

I waited half an hour in the chair while my hair was starting to dry. Until the woman finished with her previous client, it may not have been her fault as I don't know who managed the appointment times. She was pleasant. Though there was no offering of a drink, even though I heard other clients were when I was waiting.

When I paid she had added £1 on for some lotion or potion that I didn't know wasn't included in the price.

Overall, the cut wasn't the best I'd had in my life but it was cheaper. I won't be coming back again. Having your hair done is a little bit personal and it felt more like I was on a factory production line than a valued client. I left the salon a bit deflated.

Been friendly with this family run business for many years and loved getting my hair done there when i lived in the area. Desiree is a fantastic hairdresser and will always recommend!

Booked in for highlights and they explained the process at every stage. It started to rain just before I left and they offered me an umbrella 🌂! Will look to book them again for a cut next time.
