The lady who did my baby son's hair did a really lovely job. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the nearly hour long wait, but that was sheer volume, rather than anything else

Always enjoy going here. Jen has cut my hair for over 20 years, and I've never been unhappy with my colour and cut. Lovely atmosphere and plenty of cups of tea or coffee. Looking forward to another 20 years

What can I say about this wonderful establishment? I have been going to this hairdressers for 15+ years and would not change to another. I now live in Llanelli but still travel to this hairdressers. Jennifer the owner is wonderfully caring, and this in turn is seen in all her employees. As soon as you walk in, you are looked after so well. Every haircut and colour I have had has been spot on. Alive & Klippin is a jewel in the crown of Pontardawe businesses, and so much better value and quality than some Swansea city hairdressing establishments.

Excellent warm welcome when you go in offered tea or coffee, fab bunch of girls work there I know I can go in sit in the chair and tell the girls I want something different and I can trust they never let me down.

Friendly, talented and knowledgeable, the perfect salon! The staff were attentive, offering a tea or coffee, and worked with me on what I wanted to achieve with my new hairstyle.
I had a total restyle with Hannah, and left the salon looking fantastic, all for £31

Just spent a lovely relaxing time with Jen having my hair trimmed.
I felt very safe - they have screens up between work stations, hand sanitiser is by the door, and of course everyone wears a mask.
It was such a pleasure to go to a safe space and have a bit of pampering.

They gave me a booking date for a cut and colour which was 2 weeks waiting and told me to give a deposit of £30 which I said, ok. Just send me the details and I will send you the money. They never sent me the details. So I assumed the deposit was not necessary at all as I have never been asked for a deposit before. When I arrived there on the appointed date at 9 am they said that I am not on the list for that day anymore because I didn’t give them £30 deposit. I told them that they didn’t send me the details that’s why I can’t send the money. They also said that they have been calling me and the even left a message. They never did. This should have been a zero star I’m being generous. When I was showing the person I was talking to my phone details that I didn’t receive a phone call or message. She said that the hairdresser that supposed to do my hair was not in today she is sick. What a full of bull? I just waited my times S my day off with these people. Never again.

my wife is having chemo and so is losing all her hair and needed a wig we found this salon who advertise wigs (many salons do not do wigs) and my wife made an appointment for a fitting and to see what range they have as she wanted a particular style / colour as near her normal hair as possible.
my wife has a very small size head and wanted a particular style but the choice to suit my wife that they had was very limited.
they did offer to get one in for her but said it could take several weeks.

can't fault Alive and Klippin for being very understanding and trying hard to help fullfil my wifes requirements regretably my wife could not wait that long and had to go to another wig specialist to get what she wanted .
