I saw Alison for a haircut and it's one of the best haircuts I've had - usually I feel a bit anxious when having my hair cut with a new hairdresser as often It feels like they haven't listened to what I've asked for. I felt completely confident with Alison - she listened to what I wanted and gave me a perfect cut for my hair and how I wanted it. Not only did I feel totally comfortable in her skills and experience but it's probably the best value for money haircut I've had - £12 for a brilliant cut. Thank you Alison. The following week I booked my son in for a trim!

I have fine hair and after growing it out for a few years I desperately needed a good cut. I wanted something stylish that would suit my face and type of hair, and be easy to maintain. I couldn't have asked for a better cut! The stylists here are professional, knowledgeable, caring, and happy to advise. Highly recommend.

Coloured my hair compleatly wrong for an important event, I was devastated. When I went back in crying and explaining that I was unhappy, they said it wasn't their fault and there was anything they could do. I don't change my hair often and I put my trust in these 'professionals'. When I asked other hair dressers afterwards, they explained that Hairbase had clearly used an extream and outdated technique. I should have known when they were so available on short notice, haven't had a new review in ages and are always looking for new staff.

I had a haircut with Alison and she was so good ,and gave me an excellent haircut .She was very experienced and knew what she was doing and a very good one at that.She made me her fan for life .

First time appointment and I was seriously impressed. Jane took excellent care of me and my hair, listening carefully to what I wanted and advising carefully. I said just a trim on the lower layers to bridge the gap between them and Jane said straight away she’ll only take off a quarter of an inch not taking off too much.

I’ve never had blunt cut either so asked for that and Jane did superbly. As straight as a ruler!

I also wished to have my hair put up in a French plait and this was done so smartly and neatly I felt so classy. 5 stars definitely well deserved and I’m looking forward to my next appointment. Jane really knows a lot about hair and how to make customers feel pampered. Thank you so much!

This was my first haircut in two years and, as you can imagine, my hair was incredibly unkempt. I was so happy with the haircut I received and could not recommend these guys more. Great chat, friendly team and top quality hairdressers.

Love this hairdresser! The staff are so friendly and hair always looks great. Jane did mine (cut and colour) last time and it was just gorgeous, would very highly recommend
