Camping in Wales and desperately needed my hair cut and colored. Was very impressed from the initial telephone conversation, Trina took the time to speak to my Hairdresser back home so when I arrived for my patch test my card was completed. Sophie colored and styled my hair today and I am very pleased with the result. Friendly professional salon would recommend .

My wife regularly has her hair cut and here and it always looks amazing. They even did her wedding hair and that looked amazing to. The prices are competitive in the area but cheaper then you will find in Cardiff.

I found shipshape on google with a good star rating when I first moved up here, ive been a regular customer ever since, this is a busy salon with a lovely friendly atmosphere, there is always a good supply of tea/coffee etc, all the staff say hi,and are respectful of each other, personally, I like to be greeted etc but also like to be left a bit to soak up the atmosphere around me whilst in my own bubble,
Trina the owner personally stayed late one day to cut my daughters hair, I had explained that she suffers with anxiety and hadn't been out or cut her hair for 3/4yrs, she was so kind! And treated my daughter really gently, it was such a relief fir me and it really gave my daughter a confidence boost

Had a fabulous first visit to Shipshape hairdressers in Brecon today. Claire gave me a great cut I’m really pleased with it. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, also felt very safe as far as the covid rules and regulations go. Wish I’d found you sooner, many thanks to Claire and all staff , loved it. Generally very friendly staff but I was not pleased with my haircut today. My ‘bangs’ are different lengths and don’t feather nicely down into the rest of my hair. It felt very rushed. Going elsewhere to get it sorted.

Brilliant hairdressers, wonderful warm and friendly atmosphere. Spent 3.5hours in there today and came out with permed mermaid hair I could only dream of. Highly recommend the team at Shipshape ❤️

Lovely lovely service, always friendly and chatty. Always the nice personal touch of a smile, taking your coat and the offer of a cup of tea. Absolutely spot on in every way!
